How is it possible to dispute that telling his followers to punch people in the face does not incite violence?

Trump is advocating self defense (if they have a tomato, ...).

And folks want to hear a leader who is willing to advocate self defense.

Which we need, against terrorists, border jumpers, looters, etc.

Let me break into your home and start screaming obscenities.

What would be your response?

Trump was calling for self defence. When those protestors come disrupting and causing violence and hitting people, he like to punch them in the face

Protestors incited the violence in the first place by showing up and starting trouble. That’s how it’s disputable.

Because everyone who is functionally literate knows you are responsible for your own actions.

I would like a link for when Trump told someone to punch anyone in the face. This is another Teddie lie.

I have seen every Trump rally.

find me a link, please.

I heard Trump lament that trump wishes that Trump could punch someone in the face. Not the same thing.

Because it is a lie. Trump said, “I would like to punch him in the face” at one particular obnoxious profane protester.

l.

We suppose to trust “Ted Cruz the Principled” to be the “Strongest Constitutional Conservative”?

But when an easy slam dunk issue like the Chicago riots presented Ted Cruz plays politics instead like a standard issue GOPE poltican.

If he is willing to cave to the false media meme rather then defend unreservedly defend Constitutional Principals of Free Speech and Free Assembly, what else is he willing to cave on when the pressure is on?

Simple moron. If you went into your neighbors house and started screaming at him and calling his family racist, wouldn’t you expect to get your face punched? Same damn thing here. Either peacefully protest, or if you are going to conduct yourself in a threatening manner, expect to get popped one. You are either beyond stupid or just another Cruz troll trying to defend an indefensible position.

Wasn’t this statement in response to a “protester” who was swinging at people? You know, already inciting violence against peaceful people at a rally exercising their First Amendment rights?

The narrative changes at this point. I would encourage the same, instead of standing by meekly and watching my supporters get beaten by a violent “protester”.

That’s not inciting violence, it’s standing up to the thugs who are there to make you do what they want, by force. Consider that aspect.

I’ve watched every rally of Trumps since the first of the year. So much of his comments have been taken out of context and misconstrued. All to score political advantage. Trump has NEVER on any occasion promoted violence. Anyone who swears otherwise is dishonest.

No, you’re right. It isn’t possible.

See, it kicks as hard as it shoots.

Some Trump supporters want someone who’ll “tell it like it is”, will not hold back, “has the balls to fight”, etc.

There’s a key part of that maybe they’re missing: A fight includes two sides. Yep, Trump can say whatever he damned well wants to. But anyone else can, too. Trump can do whatever he damned well wants to. But anyone else can, too. If Trump wants to escalate it to the point where a disrupter gets a punch in the face, the puncher might need to recognize that the punchee might have something to give back.

Yep, Trump can call Cruz a “liar”, or someone that “no one likes”, or whatever.

But Cruz has just as much right to say what he likes about Trump.

I hate this philosophy of “consequence-free” dialogue or action.

Yes, you have a right to say/do what you like.

But by golly, you get to experience anyone else’s freedom right back.

And I’m hoping you’ll (not you, but the actor) be just as appreciative of their right as you are of yours.

Matter of fact, it’d be nice if you’d applaud them. That is, if you really believe it.

Would you punch a burglar in the face? If so, does that incite burglary - or deter it?

You are repeating Cruz’s lie that he got from the media and the left.

Check your facts. Don’t Trust Lyin’ Ted. Bearing false witness?

Political fanaticism defies all reason. People cease using their brains to think critically in order to support their messiah at all costs.

You get the facts wrong when you say, “How is it possible to dispute that telling his followers to punch people in the face does not incite violence?”

Get the facts of the matter and you will answer your own question with, “Trump was justified in saying that.”

Since when do violent communists and BLM thugs need incitement to be violent?

The issue at hand is a GOP rally being violently attacked. That Ted Cruz is trying to score political points off assaulted conservatives is pathetic.

I posted earlier on another thread but will re-iterate here. The left has been getting away with their behavior for decades; what they are being met with is new to them and rightfully so. They have been bullies for decades and now met with resistance are crying all the while a spotlight is being shown on their usual behavior.
I am done cowering to the left and their ways. They don’t like getting socked in the face? To bad, so sad; leave our events alone as well as us. They have pushing their phony agenda on us for far to long; time to fight back and if that means kicking a little leftist ass I am more than behind that. I am freaking tired of being told by the left how I should live all the while they encroach ever more into my freedoms. Get in the fight or sacrifice your liberty. There were more than a few founding fathers who did WAY more than just throw a punch, they liked to visit the harbingers against their freedom in the middle of the night. Those folks didn’t wake up. I want the left in fear because they have put the general citizen in fear for even speaking their minds theses days..Time for a “fundamental change”; one the left and the communists will truly fear and go back into hiding.

I believe your old jackazz genes are showing. Why was the person that got the heck knocked out even there? In my view that thug was sitting at home days ago and started a trajectory leading to that punch. When the BLM gang leader assigned the marching orders to go to the Trump Rally and incite violence the die was cast. The BLM thug going to the rally is what incited the violence.

Lyin’ Ted Cruz (R-Calgary) took Trump out of context. Trump said that if someone was preparing to assault Trump, that person should be punched in the face. Stopping a Communist thug from committing violence is not inciting violence. It is stopping violence.

Show even one entire comment with context where Trump tells his followers to punch people in the face. I can’t find such a place. I’ve heard “deserves” or “I’d like to”, but I’ve never heard “I want you all to punch”.
