One can often gain insight into a person’s true beliefs by observing their instinctive reaction to an abrupt situation. It seems to me that Trump’s instinctive reaction to being disturbed is “beat the hell out of them”. Now, I have no doubt that Trump will quell this reaction for the next few weeks, but I strongly believe that Cruz is absolutely right on this one.

Spare us. You been a mindless Cruz fan girl for months. To pretend you are thinking about this is just another way to attempt to lie.

This seals the deal.

Voters are suppose to trust “Ted Cruz the Principled” to be the “Strongest Constitutional Conservative”?

But when an easy slam dunk issue like the Chicago riots presented Ted Cruz, plays politics instead like a standard issue GOPE poltican.

If he is willing to cave to the false media meme rather then defend unreservedly defend Constitutional Principals of Free Speech and Free Assembly, what else is he willing to cave on when the pressure is on?

“instinctive reaction” such as “fight or flight”? I think this is exactly what won me over with Trump, my intuition to his personality is to fight.
I know he is not as conservative as I would like but at this point my greatest concern is the survival of our nation.
He is a nationalist and will fight for the survival of our country. He will fight against the very things which reduce our sovereignty - open borders, free (but unfair) trade, etc.
Yep, I am for the one who fights not the one who flees.

If the perp is acting violent, there is nothing wrong with wanting to beat the hell out of him. That's a normal, healthy, male instinct.

If I'm not mistaken, and I may be, he has not stated such when a protester was peaceful.

Trump is old school...bringing back the ways of tough old generals.
Cruz is lacking is American spirit (soul/heart)
Therefore, on a totally legalistic basis Cruz could be right but Trump will get all the support.

I liked the fact that Trump turned to face the aggressor and the attacker is lucky he didn’t lay a hand on Trump. Trump is big and light on his feet. The punk got off easy.

Recall how Cruz handled Code Pink attempts to disrupt his rally; he allowed them to speak and then figuratively decapitated them and handed them their heads on the way out with logic and in a fashion that left his opponents respecting him.
Could Trump do the same?

Right, under pressure Cruz sided with the left. Trump hasn’t indicated that he wants to beat people up.

Guess you’re another Bot4Bush

Being disturbed?

That might apply to sneezing in the presence of a sleeping infant, or speaking too loudly
at the library, or speaking on cellphone at Safeway.

Are you saying that a disruptor leaping into an aggressive stance, perhaps arms flailing,
does not warrant some move to self-protect?
