Unless they change the rules Romney can’t get it either. The winner has to be someone who at least won X number of states. Rule 40 only applies to the first ballot. If nobody wins the first ballot, then it's wide open.

Well if they do that it turns it into a brokered convention vice a contested convention. I think they might as well just not run anyone if they go brokered.
