Of course it is the subject being discussed. Trump is not creating a environment that legitimizes these attacks. He is not trying to prevent the exercise of free speech. He is trying to exercise his own right of free speech in his own venue that he paid for.

Trump has created an environment that condones HIS SUPPORTERS attacking protesters. You are saying that he has not created an environment that condones the leftist protesters violently attacking his supporters. Two different things.
