There is a dissonance when Cruz gets no more than 12% in other New England states that have normal elections, and yet does disproportionately well in states that have caucuses.
These are Cruzs percentages in New England, thus far:
12.0% New Hampshire
9.6 % Massachusetts
9.7% Vermont
45.9% Maine (Caucus)

And my county with record turn out of 892 people, double the numbers from 2008 and 2012 went Cruz 408 and Trump 220.
We have more than our fair share of Rhino transplants from the rest of New England and the east coast. Also, the Snow, Collins wing of the party certainly does not support Trump.
