Haven’t you seen the trump-bot rants? When a Cruz staffer shared CNN’s tweet about Carson quiting AFTER Rubio already shared it they spazed out and screamed for Ted’s head.
I agree the blame falls on the liberal thugs. I will say Trump should have been better prepared. I mean it’s Chicago, thug central! He seems to have believed the corrupt city government officials would treat him decently based on prior bribes/donations.
I just realized the main difference between Cruz (who I “use to” support) and Trump! One is willing to go into the Lion’s den (i.e. Chicago) to fight the enemy while the other “fights” in the comforts of the Senate Floor (how many protesters are allowed in there these days?) or preach to the already converted in the friendliest of States (i.e Texas and other reddest of states)! Sure sign of courage- sarc! I still remember Reagan’s trip to the Bronx in 1980 (where he was heckled and booed) to showcase the liberals utopian version of the city!
BS. The Chicago chaos was planned well in advance and involved several groups that brought several thousand to the venue and had hundreds inside. It would have been stupid and even dangerous to have proceeded under those circumstances.
