Now let me tell you something about Cruz. He has read every word that Trump has said or written - and memorized it. Cruz knows Trump said this about jihadis and Geller, and that's going to be his follow-up when asked about it today. Mark my words.
The problem is that Trump has whipped up his supporters to act on emotion instead of logic. In that sense he's a great politician - but it does not bode well for the future.
I will tell you now where your logic is flawed. You give Cruz way too much credit. If he were that smart he would have said "while Trump didn't support Geller in Texas and her right to free speech, I will still defend his right". Now he can't make that argument. He. Blew. It. You really think he's going to stomp his feet and say in his best Mr. Haney voice "Well, Trump didn't support Geller's right to free speech, so I'm not going to support his". Idiotic.

Oh good grief. If all you men know so much about what someone should say about every little thing why aren’t you out running for Prez. Fainthearted supporters is what you all are. Ted Cruz will be better for this country than a rabble-rousing blustering Foghorn Leghorn.

I agree Cruz could have said it better. But are you really giving Trump a pass on saying we should not provoke Muslim jihadis with our free speech?
