Trump should have had the courage to show up and speak. He abandoned 25,000 supporters and emboldened the protesters while cowering in his luxury hotel.
Now these leftists will be further encouraged to shut down the speech of anyone with whom they disagree.
Never let your mouth write a check your tail can’t cash.
My first thought was - no, we can’t let them win by intimidation.
However, if Trump let the rally go on as scheduled and a big riot occurred, and people are hurt, he will be crucified by all.
Either way he loses to the left/radicals.
However, he did the right thing in protecting his supporters. See! the people’s well being trumps his own interests!
Hopefully, the rational people will win in the court of public opinions, and the thugs will be put in their place.
