And he hired Silverado Neil Bush for his campaign.
There could be an interesting dynamic today, with rallies in Dayton and Cleveland. Kasich as governor has to provide state resources to help with crowd control. I don’t think it will get out of control, not from many Ohioans anyway. There’s too much cultural memory of Kent State and the 1970s riots Cleveland still hasn’t totally recovered from. If it gets beyond the scope of what local police can handle, Kasich’s going to take the blame if he doesn’t step in and defend First Amendment rights of legitimate rally-goers.
“4. The next time one of these people jumps up, says F you and everything else about you mother etc. holds up the middle finger, they should be arrested. MAKE THAT CLEAR FROM THE BEGINNING.”
This.
Someone e-mailed me last night that federal law prohibits protesting in a location where secret service is located, and that such behavior is subject to up to 10 years in prison (H.R. 347). I don’t know if this is true or not but, if it is, I think they should start arresting these vermin and prosecuting them. The liberal judges will probably just let them off, but that’s no reason not to do it.
This really rattles me. In America, a political rally and candidate’s right to speak should NEVER be shut down, on any side, by any one. This should offend BOTH sides. Strangely, Trump seemed less distressed about it than I am, and that human piece of garbage who goes under the name of Ted Cruz actually blamed it on Trump.
Blamed it on Trump! Sorry, Jim - this guy doesn’t deserve 50/50 support, or any support from anyone on our side AT ALL after pulling this crap. Everyone on this thread has seen these rallies. No one’s inciting violence. Except for the puke leftist protestors, the rallies are filled with positivity and love. For Cruz to paint Trump like some kind of Hitler, inciting poor innocent protestors to attack police and shut down an event is one of the most vile political moves I’ve ever seen - and this jerk is supposedly on OUR side.
Yeah, right.
This should never, ever, EVER be allowed to happen again. Maybe Hillary has the right idea - people in her rallies are reportedly screened before hand, so there ARE no protestors. If these leftist idiot brainwashed children are going to act like this, they don’t deserve to be heard.
Well I’ve wondered for 7 long years what the heck it is a “community organizer” does.....last night answered that question.
“The thing I wish for most with these thug-mobs is a way to figure out how they are paid.”
Wouldn’t be surprised to see the signature, “Neil Bush” on a check or two.
Go piss up a rope, @tedcruz.
Well said, Nikos.
And BTW, if I have not said this lately, your efforts at creating a daily home for us is very much appreciated.
The lines in Vadalia,OH for the Trump rally telll us that we will not be cowed.
We need to pray for the Cleveland event.
There are reports that there was a plan to rush the stage when Trump was on it last night in Chicago-it is forseeable that this could be expected in Cleveland as well.
Trump just told the Fox crew that he was unaware of such a plan for last night.
What worries me is that last night was the first time you’ve seen muslims and black lives matters agitators working together.
If these two groups have really joined forces, and Bombing Bill Ayers is condoning this, we will have something much worse than ISIS on our hands.
Our nation is about to be torn apart. If we don’t stand up now, we’ll be buried by election day.
I think you mean James O’Keefe from Project Veritas.
If the money trail is connected with any crime or tort...then the person who disseminates the funds can be sued.
“Cruz is really a Bush just with a different last name:
“Neil Bush, the son of President George H. W. Bush, who defrauded U.S. taxpayers out of $1.5 billion dollars in the savings and loan scam, and later peddled influence for the Chinese government, (who plied him with Chinese prostitutes) has formally endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. You cant make this stuff up.
“This endorsement says much. Since the other, more politically involved Bush men have a distinct dislike for Mr. Cruz, I suppose Neil Bush is better than no Bush. Lets look at the wonderful memories that Neil Bush has left us with. First there is is that little banking charade he steered us into back in 1985.
“Back in 1981, Neil Bush was director of Silverado Savings and Loan in Denver, Colorado. Neil was very generous, lending millions to pals Kenneth Good and William Walters. The $250 million in loans went into default, S.S. & L. went bankrupt and had to be seized by the Feds. Neil Bush walked away with a cool $100,000 personal loan which he never paid back. Documents released by the Office of Thrift Supervision detailed the conflict of interest charges against Neil. Federal regulators described him as ‘unqualified, and untrained’ to be a director of a financial institution.
“Cruz, and his wife, are deeply connected within Bush world:
“The Bush-Cruz connection is clear. Ted was George W.s brain when he ran for president. A top policy adviser, Ted maneuvered for Solicitor General in Bush World but settled for a plum at the Federal Trade Commission. Teds a Bush man with deep ties to the political and financial establishment. Ted and wife Heidi brag about being the first Bush marriage they met as Bush staffers. Cruz was an adviser on legal affairs while Heidi was an adviser on economic policy and eventually director for the Western Hemisphere on the National Security Council under Condoleezza Rice. Condi helped give us the phony war in Iraq. Heidi then went to the Bush U.S. Trade Representative as a top deputy to U.S. Trade Rep. Robert Zoellick, who wired Heidis membership in the Council on Foreign Relations and job at Goldman Sachs. The bailed-out bank then loaned Cruz $1 million secretly to finance his Senate race. Crux would also borrow an undisclosed $1 million loan from Citicorp.
“That means Cruz, an Ivy League champion debater, has used his political skills to cover up just how much of a political insider he is. While claiming to be a rebel tea-party candidate, he associates with New York hedge funds and energy companies, while supporting TPP/Obamatrade to send American jobs overseas.
“Perhaps now we know why the establishment would much rather support Cruz instead of conservative businessman Donald J. Trump, who is self-funding his campaign?”

“1. First off, stop calling them protestors.”
Perfectly said. It’s like calling illegal aliens “undocumented immigrants”.
I despise political correctness.
I agree 100%.
....Blamed it on Trump! Sorry, Jim - this guy doesnt deserve 50/50 support, or any support from anyone on our side AT ALL after pulling this crap. Everyone on this thread has seen these rallies. Thanks for the clarification on the Cleveland rally. Agree on the point of the locale in Chicago. A daylight rally would have been a better choice as well. And I hope the rallies in Ohio today be better events today for those in attendance. I’m watching the lines from Dayton on TV right now.
There wouldn’t be a check. Even Silverado isn’t that dumb. But I invite you to use your imagination...picture how you would put a riot together, organize and pay the punks. It really is impossible without some kind of trail. So who goes to the bank for the cash? Which bank? Or is it money that needs to be laundered/-like drug money? Once you start finding that money, there is a potent legal and political weapon in your hands.
Someone really needs to talk to the Trump campaign on their organizing. Yesterday they rent a stadium on a college campus loaded with left wing student loonies, so why should anyone be surprised that they turned out in droves? Today he’s holding a rally less than a mile way of the Big 12 Basketball Tournament championship game. I doubt that Trump will have to worry about protesters tonight because they will either be at the game, home watching it on TV, or unable to find a parking spot.
Trump needs to come out and talk about how political correctness is causing the bullies to get more brazen, just how schoolyard bullies become more prevalent and more violent when the politically correct teachers and administration punish the victims when they stand up for themselves.
Trump has been vilified for standing up to protesters at his rallies, just last night and the debate. And what happens today? More of them. Case in point
I’m just finishing up reading the thread from last night. For those that didn’t see it, here’s a link that someone posted:

I think the sleeping giant was awakened a few months back. The Chicago thugs did, however, give him a big fat cup of espresso.
