One thing we can be confident about, re Cruz. He doesn’t look like somebody who would encourage violence by wailing on someone who attacked him. He looks like he’d be good in a no threatening defensive crouch, forearms covering his face.
Trump show the characteristics of a THUG who would abuse the power of office, but I guess that's what you want.

Trump supporters, grown men, stood by idly while goons flipped everyone off, wore lewd tee-shirts, and spewed obscenities IN FRONT OF CHILDREN.
They beat people, BLOCKED AMBULANCES, vandalized cars. No law. No order. Anarchy.
Blocking ambulances is the worst. It should be every man’s duty to physically take down anyone who obstructs rescue vehicles.

The military itself has been neutered. You may have been to close to it, but do you know how much prestige we lose when Gitmo inmates throw urine and worse at our uniforms?

Your analogy is not correct. The public is invited to the rallies. Trump may choose to start restricting access, but will have to screen attendees.Regardless, encouraging violence (unless for self-defense) will just create more problems.
Your statement is incorrect. That's what happens when you start from a conclusion and work backwards.
Trump rents these halls. Whether the rally-goers pay a fee or not is irrelevant. These places are private property and the owner that day is the renter Trump, like your apartment or hotel room. He calls the shots.
You might make the case he hasn't had a proper disclaimer, maybe "No protesters allowed" or equivalent. But I don't know since I never went to one.
One person had a good suggestion that he charge for tickets and then return the money to ticketholders as they exit, but not to protesters who get ejected.
Regardless, these people are comparable to trespassers and should be dealt with harshly. This nonsense isn't okay on public property, it is certainly not and more acceptable on private property, or in your house or apartment.
In effect here, lots of you seem to be calling on him to act proper like all those other dignified candidates before him. Sit there and look stupid and helpless! That is another sign of weakness. That leads to a Bush43 getting a shoe thrown at him or a Bernie Sanders microphone commandeered. Trump is again playing outside the box by keeping them guessing. And the media and establishment are cringing and startled. The protesters might even wonder if it is worth it and many might already have stayed at home rather than chance it. How is any of this a bad thing?
Both Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh held their punches reg. Cruz even though they agree that these leftist protesters are essentially brown shirts. But it will be harder for them after this morning.
