I thought Cruz Rubio Kasich at least one would stand for principle. I was wrong. They are all Elites
There are some situations where you DO expect solidarity with political opponents, especially of your own party. This would be one, but that solidarity was not to be found, and speaks volumes of the character of those Republican candidates who have faulted Trump instead of the rioters, MoveOn, People for Bernie and others who have claimed responsibility, and victory. Shame on Cruz/Rubio and Kasich. Disgraceful “men.”
Apparently the majority of Trump's supporters. I refer you to post #38 as Exhibit A. "If only Cruz said this, if only Cruz said that..." After everything said here about Cruz and the realpolitik of this election, all of a sudden everyone wants to rally around the flag and the Constitution when they've freely abandoned conservative principles under some vague and nebulous notion of saving the country.
National survival first, then we can talk about a more conservative track for this nation. Trump supporters have adopted the position of the GOPe. Conservatives, to the back of the bus we'll get to your concerns later.
By the way, good luck trying to sell the triangulated conspiracy narrative between BLM/Moveon.org and Sea Island to disrupt Trump's rally. I'm sure you'll be able to garner the attention of Trump's non-FR LIV supporters to explain all that.
