Don’t let them get under your skin. Emotions are a powerful thing and emotions drive the very heart of the left. When I come into FR and see comments like what I’ve seen here such as I want to stop before I say what I really want to say to you that tells me many in FR have gone the way of the left and emotions and are completely lost.

As far as I am concerned I refuse to engage anyone anymore that allows their sheer emotion to get in the way of reason. Try to convince me without all the emotion (not you by the way). Give me a compelling argument based on reason without the glitter and sarcastic satire and I may just pull to the Trump side.

I don’t believe it is Trump who has necessarily turned me against Trump more so than it is his supporters. When someone is wrong I respect them more if their supporters just man up to it and move on vs. bending into a pretzel trying to tell me what Trump really said or meant incantations. I’ll accept someone manning up but what I won’t accept is emotional drivel masked behind and idolization so much so that it blinds them completely from reality. That reality is Trump is at times unhinged and has condoned acts of violence. This is in no way presidential or represent conservative virtues.

Thankyou Jarhead.
I sincerely needed to read these words.
I have been heartbroken and trying my best to bring truth to the threads, but I must realize that indeed many of our dear Freepers have moved to the left and are driven by their emotions.
I’m off now and going to rest.
God Bless You.
