Cruz's comments were MUCH WORSE than I had assumed them to be, from just reading the original post. Much worse! He sounds like a DNC spokesman.
Anyone who thinks I'm exaggerating should go to the video you posted. Cruz goes off the rails starting at about the 1:16 mark.
Cruz is an opportunist. He apparently has no principles, and the Constitution doesn’t matter if he can take advantage of a situation.
