Well DB, when you are doing your “blame assessment,” I would ask you to go through this thread and count up the number of former Cruz supporters for whom his comments tonight were a turning point. It is the first time in a dozen or more weeks here on FR that a substantial number of Freepers are changing their minds about cotinuing to support Ted Cruz. I guess you are one of the slow learners.

So, you’re just fine with organized lefist-anarchists to shut down free speech events after organizing to do this via social media for weeks? Where have we seen that before?
And the real beauty of it is that Trump cancelled to avoid really bad things from happening by the leftist-anarchists who have been organizing this violence for weeks via social media, while the anarchists are crowing that they shut down a free-speech event, which isn’t going to go over too well with many people in this country. Seems to me Trump came out smelling like a rose and the anarchists came out smelling like poop.
Cruz sunk his own ship with this:
