If you are an Ohio resident, you certainly have a voice and can petition our state government. If you are not, conservatism and federalism allow you to reside in a state whose election laws are more agreeable to you.

I for one like the fact that a state still has a right to make its own decision on something. That’s getting rarer and rarer, and I would caution those who consider themselves conservative from trying to literally make a “federal issue” out of this.

Ohio’s ABILITY to do this is a good thing, whether you like the law itself or not. That whole “laboratory of democracy” type stuff our founders were so fond of.
