Yes. I was in Dubai and we were allowed our Western culture in the hotels that catered to businessmen. I wore a dress and we drank beer. I was required to wear a headscarf and stay covered in Riyadh though. We went wandering in the basement of the hotel and were followed by a man wearing a white nightgown, a red and white tablecloth on his head tied on with a bungee cord.
