Why would they discourage them? They are their fodder; ignorant suckers, trained pets.
Did the same thing in Newark NJ last year; I asked a friend who works in Newark’s small downtown how they dealt with it, and she said they were simply instructed to work remotely. Another nail in the coffin of the Newark NJ Welfare Reservation; who would open a business anywhere accessible to these unemployable malcontents?
IMO, in the Trump case anyone disrupting a public gathering which is expressing a political RIGHT guaranteed by the first amendment should be secure knowing those who are violating the first amendment of our constitution will be dealt with effectively and if necessary brutally. I don’t mean tear gas which affects everyone. Take out the perps and agitators by arrest if possible and if not, take them out permanently.
Back around 1970, the Newark teachers decided to go on a illegal strike and conduct a march on city hall. Fortunately the mayor let the police loose, they trapped them all between the mounted officers and the “tactical Squad”, lined up the wagons and took them right to jail for processing. Those that strongly resisted got a wooden shower. End of illegal strike/demonstration. (Funny side note, one of my pals who was arrested was greeted at our North Side restaurant by “the boys” who celebrated his arrest saying he made his bones in sarcasm).
The CNN questions yesterday about gestapo tactics at Trump’s rallies is meant to set the stage for a bad event on prime time TV. I bet they are setting up the cameras this moment to do just that. Nothing draws a criminal demonstrator faster then the TV folks taking a day to set up their cameras albeit they could do it in 5 minutes.
