Amanda Carpenter is a former Cruz campaign staffer - no bias there, eh?
She ticks me off. She seems nice enough on the surface but then has a really acidic mouth and nasty attitude. I guess she picked the up from her old boss.
Just saw the presser and read this far in the comments.
I feel a tectonic shifting with this endorsement and press conference. People are learning why they should pay attention to Carson and Trump. Carson knocked it out of the park in his own serene and powerful way.
As for the reporters, they kept bringing up the “two Donald Trumps” idea in the hope that something damaging and quotable would be said and they could make people start wondering about duplicity. The ones who asked “why not Cruz?” had their question ready in advance and it was kind of a stupid question. Makes me think they just wanted to get Cruz’s name out there as an equal to Trump at this event that millions were watching.
All in all, a game changer for many who had not become Trump supporters yet.
