The Establishment will say, “This is proof that Trump will destroy the GOP and America and the RNC must step in and stop the possibility that this person could be the GOP candidate, and we must have a candidate who is presidential...yadayada...”...So Bush/Romney/Cruz/Ryan take over the convention before it happens.
Yes they will push that narrative hard from now until the convention. It’s probably what they agreed upon at their Sea Island meeting.
Also expect to see more paid protesters bussed into Cleveland for the convention to give them cover and reason to steal the nomination away.
