We have a democracy and a republic and several other words could be used to describe our constitutional form of government. We have representative forms of those two generic terms.
It’s become fashionable among some to say: The US is a republic, not a democracy. Sorry, it’s some of both and there is a lot of overlap in the definitions.
And your entire post is almost irrelevant because no one word describes our form of government of practically any form of government.
But, keep on boostering for all those republicans like China, Iran, North Korea and others.
You just sound silly pretending that the word republic provides some all encompassing definition of the US form of government. It doesn’t.

Trump has cancelled his speech in Chicago. Says the protesters have obstructed his freedom of speech. This will do more for him than any rally. It will rally America for Trump. We are not going to sit back and see anarchists take America down.
If that happens, we all should write in “DJT”.
Still out of it from hospital testing today but not too out of it to give Cruz a piece of mind tonight. Called the slime balls office, left a message. Looking at Right Side, I also wondered how they could have let them in. I guess if they haven’t done anything, and you can’t see their silly signs, it’s rather difficult to stop them.
They need to do some stealth profiling. Hold the events way outside of the city, if possible.
Can you imagine conservative people who are offended by certain rappers or other groups going to their concerts and causing problems for the fans? The left would be screaming about free speech in a New York minute!
