Not a chance. If that were the case, they would have swung for the any one of the endless parade of Democrats pretending to be Republicans. No. These are not ideological voters. They cannot stand the Republican party (with good reason), but are not ideological soulmates of the current Democrat party. They responded to Reagan, because they saw someone outside the establishment, who was blessed with common sense, and who cared as deeply about the country as they do.

They see the same thing in Trump. Once again, for good reason.
