But has Donald Trump really built a giant business or has he just played around with his vast inheritance without really growing it?
He has drive and personal ambition. He loves naming stuff after himself. He will compromise honesty to accomplish his goals.
He didn’t raise his children. His first wife did but, yes, they seem to be decent people.
My children are beyond great ... really, really wonderful.
That makes me happy but it doesn’t make me qualified to be president.
I watched Ted Cruz with Megyn last night.
He has so many great ideas and positive plans and he knows exactly how to do it. He discussed the powers a president has to accomplish things. Obama’s executive orders can be rescinded. He can abolish certain agencies.
He can take his programs to the public as Reagan did and force this dysfunctional congress to act for the people.
He promised to launch an investigation into Planned Parenthood. Trump promises to keep funding them.
His tax plan will enable us to keep business here. Not make stuff overseas as Trump’s own companies do, apparently without shame.
What you say about Ted could be all true.
I have two concerns with Cruz:
1.) He has a narrow base of appeal and lacks the ability to appeal to a larger audience. Listening to his ads here in Idaho, the rhetoric is lofty and vague in nature. He doesn't address the kitchen table issues that Trump is talking about.
2.)My main concern is that Cruz would knuckle under to the establishment when elected as so many of the 'tea partiers' have. He's already headed in that direction with cozying up to the Bush's. I just don't trust the guy.
