Ted Cruz, A Bush By Another Name
Daily Caller ^ | 3/10/16 | Roger Stone

Posted on 03/10/2016 7:50:03 AM PST by jimbo123

Neil Bush, the son of President George H. W. Bush, who defrauded U.S. taxpayers out of $1.5 billion dollars in the savings and loan scam, and later peddled influence for the Chinese government, (who plied him with Chinese prostitutes) has formally endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. You can’t make this stuff up.

This endorsement says much. Since the other, more politically involved Bush men have a distinct dislike for Mr. Cruz, I suppose Neil Bush is better than no Bush. Let’s look at the wonderful memories that Neil Bush has left us with. First there is is that little banking charade he steered us into back in 1985.

Back in 1981, Neil Bush was director of Silverado Savings and Loan in Denver, Colorado. Neil was very generous, lending millions to pals Kenneth Good and William Walters. The $250 million in loans went into default, S.S. & L. went bankrupt and had to be seized by the Feds. Neil Bush walked away with a cool $100,000 personal loan which he never paid back. Documents released by the Office of Thrift Supervision detailed the conflict of interest charges against Neil. Federal regulators described him as “unqualified, and untrained” to be a director of a financial institution.

It seems Neil miscalculated just how much he knew about directing a mega financial institution like Silverado Savings and Loan. By the summer of 1990, the cost of bailing out the savings and loan industry would cost at least $500 billion! Neil’s Silverado adventure cost U.S. taxpayers $1.5 billion.

Not funny at all. When it comes straight from Cruz’s lips and I know it is false, what else is one to do, tell him he mispoke?

This is from a former Cruz aconite. I sent money when he was still selling the idea he was going after grassroots donations, then all of a sudden the litany of half truths came flowing at the same time we start to find out about all of the Wall St. and other funding he has tried to keep quiet.

Go laugh yourself silly if you want. You might need to remember it one day.

It’s ok if you can’t keep up. I understand you support Trump who also happens to love the uneducated.

Huh? Once again where has his platform changed or hell where did he claim to be flexible and everything is negotiable? Where did he give a ton of money to democrats to support liberal policies? Where did he say he supports Planned Parenthood? Where did Cruz get everyone to raise their hands like a Nazi and take a loyalty pledge? Where did Cruz back Hillary?

I’m not following. How is it Trump can do all the above and yet Cruz is the one that is the waffler because he convinced others to join his platform?

So David Duke supporting Trump makes Trump a racist then by this logic.

Trump disavowed Duke's support, which he never sought in the first place. Ted Cruz has hired Neil Bush onto his staff. That's a fairly significant difference.

See how that works?

But then he didn’t disavow his support. He disavowed it before he didn’t disavow it :-)

I’ll say this though. I would consider voting for Trump to beat Hillary—that’s how bad Hillary is!

So if GOPe controls Marco and Cruz...why is Marco still in the race? Shouldn’t he have gotten out last week so Cruz could win more delegates to stop Trump.

Oh wait...now I know why Trump loves the uneducated ;-)

But the link was interesting, no? The fact that Trump already flip-flopped on H1B visas. Now we need to pin him down on H2B visa—you know the one he uses to hire unskilled workers at his hotels.

I did not bother to read the thread. Still looking for your unproven assertion for which you were supposedly, providing a link.

And if one of the Bush’s decide to back Trump, will the anti-Bush folks attacking Cruz here, start attacking Trump?

Somebody really IS trying to put the tarnish on Ted Cruz, who in my mind, is a very honorable man, and not simply because of whatever office he may hold.

The family Bush is a somewhat unique and separate chapter of the future history of that storied land once known as “the United States of America”, and while they did not in isolation smash the foundations of that once shining beacon to all mankind, they did little to shore things when they had opportunity, all in the name of “good manners” and “prudence”. They would not take action against those who were actively dismantling the Republic, but “went along to get along”, for whatever little glory it earned for themselves.

Comity - defined.
Courtesy; respect; a disposition to perform some official act out of goodwill and tradition rather than obligation or law.

Clearly, the family Bush took it to a fault.

ted cruz has almost no business experience. he is a hard core lawyer. he gained his minuscule business knowledge from pillow talk

to equate him to the business savy bush second generation and the very widely experienced HW bush indicates severe ignorance

the premise is a joke

the one strong commonality is being Texas Republicans

Exactly. I have two jobs, one in the corporate world and one as a weekend factory worker. Even if I had an IQ of .0001%, I'd still be able to see what was going on in America.

Doesn't take a genius to know that if you flood the country with criminal aliens and Muslims, we're going to cease to exist and we'll all be outlaws roaming the streets like in the Walking Dead.
