Neil Bush, the son of President George H. W. Bush, who defrauded U.S. taxpayers out of $1.5 billion dollars in the savings and loan scam, and later peddled influence for the Chinese government, (who plied him with Chinese prostitutes) has formally endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. You cant make this stuff up.
This endorsement says much. Since the other, more politically involved Bush men have a distinct dislike for Mr. Cruz, I suppose Neil Bush is better than no Bush. Lets look at the wonderful memories that Neil Bush has left us with. First there is is that little banking charade he steered us into back in 1985.
Back in 1981, Neil Bush was director of Silverado Savings and Loan in Denver, Colorado. Neil was very generous, lending millions to pals Kenneth Good and William Walters. The $250 million in loans went into default, S.S. & L. went bankrupt and had to be seized by the Feds. Neil Bush walked away with a cool $100,000 personal loan which he never paid back. Documents released by the Office of Thrift Supervision detailed the conflict of interest charges against Neil. Federal regulators described him as unqualified, and untrained to be a director of a financial institution.
It seems Neil miscalculated just how much he knew about directing a mega financial institution like Silverado Savings and Loan. By the summer of 1990, the cost of bailing out the savings and loan industry would cost at least $500 billion! Neils Silverado adventure cost U.S. taxpayers $1.5 billion.

But there are racists supporting him. And weren’t you one of the ones claiming Cruz is GOPe because of people who supported him? ;-)
It depends on what the issue is. If the issue is someone is a murderer and rapist or racist then yes extra care must be given (even in accepting support from those people). If the person is willing to back the candidates cause and his only crime is he’s a liberal (like Trump is) then it’s ok as long as he is advancing the candidates platform.
Hey I know its tough when your guy betrays you and hires the whole Bush team brother and all to work on his campaign. At that point GOPe doesn’t even seem to cover it. LOL!
Bingo. When do you think the Cruz supporters will see that??
Half truths are more dangerous than outright no basis lies. Seems like you can’t make up your mind which is which.
I get hammered on this board for saying so, but Levin has outed himself as the ultimate fraud. The Great One as he so often refers to himself is utterly devoid of the principles he attacks others for lacking. If he was, hed see through the Cruz sham and embrace Trump. None are truly outsiders, but Trump is as independent as they come in todays world, due to his immense wealth and ability to say no to PACs and donations. The fact that Levin willfully ignores all of Teds obvious insider connections confirms that Levin is an insider himself.

In search of donations and influence, the three prominent conservative groups are paying hefty sponsorship fees to the popular talk show hosts. Those fees buy them a variety of promotional tie-ins, as well as regular on-air plugs praising or sometimes defending the groups, while urging listeners to donate often woven seamlessly into programming in ways that do not seem like paid advertising.

According to Cruz he is.
Trump did not hire David Duke. Cruz hired Neil Bush.
More words, yet, no link on that KKK supporter money. Hmmm.
I just figured out what is going on with Trump. Remember the movie Trading Places where two rich guys made a $1 bet on how people will behave based on circumstances?
I think Trump made a bet with a fellow billionaire that he could win the GOP nomination while talking about his penis size, making his supporters take a loyalty pledge that makes them look like Nazis, supporting planned parenthood, giving money to the most likely democrat nominee, and calling his supporters uneducated. Looks like Trump is going to win that bet too
One more thing.
It’s the platform and message that matters. What position did Cruz change? If he changes to a GOPe message like Trump on Planned Parenthood and flexibility then I’m not going to support him any longer.
Neil Bush? So when is Bernie Madoff going to sign on as an adviser?
You are losing me. No link yet, more blather.
Oh boy, how stupid.
Hey I get it its hard work trying to think up excuses for allowing your whole campaign to be taken over by the Bushes. Now your guy is totally owned by the GOPe. His message no longer matters because everyone knows its not believable. Sucks to be you. But cheer up in a couple of weeks Felito will be dropping out and you can relax. :-)
Trump is running his whole campaign based on authoritarian ideals.
- - - - - - - -
You are being deceived! Trump supporters think of Donald Trump as “decisive” rather than being authoritarian. That is, Donald Trump is not continuously checking the winds of public opinion. He is actually tuned into public opinion among the people who work, or worked, for a living. Lets take a look at what Donald has said he will do:
He has spoken and written about canceling Obama’s unconstitutional Executive Actions. He requires no congressional approval to do this.
He has spoken and written about rolling back 20 years of oppressive Federal Regulations. As long as he works within the current stupid laws that transfer entirely too much power to the Executive, he doesn’t need Congress to do this.
He has written and talked about working with Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare, to change the Tax code, to rebuild the military, to build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it. He has said he will get everyone in a room and work these things out.
The Congressional Committee system and regular order actually would be useful in this regard, because he can have committees and sub-committees over to the Whitehouse to talk these things out. I know that the “conservatives” have said they want to return to regular order, instead of these late-night omnibus bills. This will give them the chance to do this whether they really want to or not.
He is going to be an active, hands-on President of the United States. Based on how he is running his campaign, it is very likely that we will get to know how things are going every day.
Now this is going to be very different from the way things have been. You will actually know what is going on as we Make American Great Again! You won’t wake up and find that the GOPee has sold you down the river again.
After Donald Trump finishes doing all the authoritarian things he has promised: build the wall, deport illegals and Syrian invaders, cancel Obamas unconstitutional executive orders, roll back twenty years of intrusive government regulations, prosecute Hillary and her crew, release the secret 28 pages from the 9/11 report, negotiate prescription drug purchases, repeal and replace Obamacare, simplify the Tax code, repatriate $2.5 trillion in off-shore profits, stop the IRS from abridging the free speech of Christian Churches, reform the libel laws to remove the public figure distinctions, defund Planned Parenthood until the stop doing abortions, cleaning up the mess that is the VA, cutting waste, fraud and abuse where ever it is found, canceling Common Core and returning control of education to the States, end the assault on the Second Amendment, audit the Federal Reserve System, investigate the harmful additives in Vaccines and the coverup of studies at the CDC, and destroy the culture of Political Correctness, then we can talk about all those libertarian issues you want to address.
So let me get this straight: so believing someone has “conservative” policies gets us no where? Is that about right?
- - - - - - - -
No, it has gotten us: Obamacare, Selling Baby parts, Patriots being locked up for objecting to the theft of access to public lands, heck, an unconstitutional amount of public lands, Federal regulation of a rain puddle on private property, gay marriage, Christians prosecuted for exercising their religion, etc., etc., etc.
We elected Dick Nixon, and got HHS, EPA, and a loss in Vietnam. We elected Ronald Reagan and got amnesty for illegals. We elected George H.W. Bush and got Bill Clinton. We elected George W. Bush and got a broken Mid-East and a Total Surveillance State.
- - - - - - - -
he “supported” TPA in order to ensure the next president would have the ability to negotiate trade deals.
- - - - - - - -
As I said, he had a “good reason” for doing what he did while saying what you wanted to hear.
No “agreement” made by a President with a Foreign Power is binding on any following President, unless that President believes that the sovereignty of the United States has been subordinated to that Foreign Power. So every trade agreement that is not a Treaty, is open to be cancelled on day one. With Donald Trump’s expertise at contracts, the bad Treaties are probably toast as well.
When Ted’s Homeland Security Forces hand you a small wooden block, tell you that is is soap, and point you to the showers, be sure to go right in, knowing it is the “conservative” thing to do.
