He endorsed Cruz months ago. All the while saying “I haven’t made an endorsement”. Of course, I wouldn’t brag too much about it if I were Cruz. He proudly endorsed Orin Hatch too.

Everyone is entitled to some screw-ups, and Mark was honorable enough to admit that his endorsement of Hatch was one. This time, Cruz is the right call, miles ahead of his competition. Thank you, Mark!

Mark is good at a lot of things but doesn't having a great record for picking candiates for President. Mark endorsed Michelle Bachman in '11 and Rick Santorum. Both terrible candidates and he attacked Newt Gingrich which gave us Romney. Mark also endorsed Fred Thompson in '08 and he dropped out a week later. Fred had no energy and had no business running but Mark didn't see it. Mark is making the wrong pick again in '16.

In addition to Hatch, he also endorsed Ben Sasse - said he was outstanding, a solid conservative, a constitutionalist. Now he has to backtracks and says Ben Sasse is not a conservative. A couple weeks ago Mark said this is why he doesn't endorse candidates anymore. Fastforward 2 weeks and he endorses Cruz. Here we go again.
