They’re all doing well, but Trump has the ability to connect to the “little guy” who can understand generalities, if not specifics. Marco is really on target tonight. Ted is factual and original, but can the average viewer understand all of his points?
Trumps weak point has been inartful answers to questions. Tonight he is right on point. Big difference.
People won’t remember the specifics much.
But they know Trump wants to build the wall, that Islam hates us and he wants to brings jobs back home.
That’s all low-info voters want to hear.

From what I saw- Cruz did a good job of pointing out differences with Trump policy wise, and Trump's long history of supporting liberals.
