Rule #1 to being the smartest guy in the room is that you don't go around telling everyone that you are.

I agree with your point completely - and that is why I have such a hard time believing Trump can win the general election.

His ENTIRE CAMPAIGN is telling the voters he is the smartest man in the room. That everyone else is stupid and have made terrible deals, and only HE is so smart and such a great businessman, that he is the most fantastic, mighty greatest Trump.

I mean come on. Think about it. That is his entire campaign so far. that he is better than every other politician.

And yet his same supporters that cheer trump everytime he says something like that , are now mad at Cruz for acting like his supporters are smarter.

Actually, Trump repeatedly says he will bring other smart guys in to negotiate and advise. He even mentions specific business and political leaders such as Carl Icahn and Jeff Sessions. He never claims to be doing this alone like everyone-hates-me Ted.

But maybe you are too low info to know what Trump actually says?

Yeah...but the obvious point from that is that *neither* of them are what they’re cracked up to be, and both will have tremendous difficulties overcoming the Hillary Machine.
