It is true that the established ministries of propaganda are not playing by the rules that we would consider fair. But. Isn’t it a relief, for a change, that the two leading candidates for the Republican Party nomination will not play by the rules of the establishment?

Uh, I kind of think with Neil, five Bush finance people now on board with Cruz, and Austin Barbour (of the Haley family) advising, there remains one candidate not playing by the establishment rules. Ted just got a brand new bible to live by.

Might not be that bad an idea.

I liked her but not for president but a woman on the ticket might be okay.

Cruz is hardly the Establishment’s darling. Basically,it is like the tolerating of Franco to prevent Hitler from taking Gibraltar.

You do have a point. I remain optimistic that all but Bush candidates will rally to support the apparent nominee. We'll see what those guys are made of, won't we?

The only one of the candidates who was more articulate than Cruz. Trump would be well advised to have her as running mate.

Somebody corrected that. Carson said on the Hannity show that he would chose Trump because he’s an outsider, but it wasn’t really a formal endorsement. I was also told thtat the Giuliani endorsement was from a phony Twitter account.

Endorsements from a liberal NYC’er and a sleepy kook, to go along with the thumbs-up from Mr. Jersey Pork Pie? Yea, I’d bury that news deep as well

We certainly will. Everyone's made their case about the spienless GOPe, let's see what kind of spines the candidates have. My sense is they go wobbly quickly except for Trump. My gosh, look how quickly Crud joined the club. He didn't even wait for the primaries last night to be over.

Carly is a strong woman with a mind of her own. I am sure she made this decision based on her own conscience. I can’t see her bending to the dictates of the establishment or anyone else. Principled people do still exist.

You're wrong. If Carly had done this 2 weeks ago, it could be considered a principled stand. As far as I am concerned, anyone who endorses Crud now is a puppet of the establishment, and have their own price tag. That should make for some interesting x-rays.

We have never had a primary down to the wire like this. Either learn to play the game by their rules or go home and play pick-up-sticks.

Hey AuntB you say;

"The largest donation to the Fiorina super PAC — close to $1.6 million — came from Jerry Perenchio, the former CEO of Univision and national finance co-chairman for John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign with deep ties to California.” http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/31/politics/carly-fiorina-super-pac/

UncleSam says;

"Billionaire Robert Mercer originally started KtP to promote candidate Ted Cruz.  Eventually three pro-Cruz KtP enterprises were started but not before $500,000 was transferred to start up another Super-PAC for Carly Fiorina,Carly for America” (CfA).

The Federal Election Commission says;

The Federal Election Commission sent an inquiry directed to Mercer’s KtP, requesting an explanation of why a Pro-Cruz Super-PAC would be funding the start up of a Pro-Carly Super-PAC.

The financial transfer remains a mystery, but common sense and a look at the timing of the transfer, would indicate this was a way for Robert Mercer to hedge his bets (no pun intended) in the event Fiorina gained more traction than Cruz.  Mercer obviously wanted to have self-interested influence with both candidates.

Robert Mercer says;

The extraordinarily wealthy influence agent, Robert Mercer currently owes the IRS somewhere between $6 billion and $10 billion dollars.  If he can help purchase a White House victory obviously the scales can be tipped in his favor.for either candidate,

However, as noted, not long after founding the political committee, Mercer turned over the Super-PAC to Glenn Beck’s friend and business partner David Barton.

Barton now runs “KtP1” in addition to being Co-Chair for Beck’s Mercury One charity. But the Mercer influence didn’t just stop with the KtP organization. The billionaire also purchased a controlling stake in Breitbart.Com, who then began promoting a years’ long poll of presidential candidates.

Cruz is pure GOPe and has been for a long time. Do you think Cruz hired Neil Bush as an anti-establishment protest?

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

what do you think Cruz mean by establishment when he said this.
My how he has changed his tune and quickly ran to them

course I don’t expect anyone to actually think about those words of their guy as some seem so stubborn to change their mind or just don’t have a open mind.
