I was there at the end of last May. Did a driving vacation researching the wife’s Acadian ancestry over the whole area of the Maritimes. Drove 9,000 miles.

Did the full circle of Cape Breton and there was still snow melting off at sea level in places in the last ten days of May. Countryside is beautiful. Food is marvelous. People are real great as well.

Pack a lot of wool and you can forget the swim wear.

There are areas along the PEI coast where they had 16 feet of snow still built up in April.
