Donald Trump celebrated wins in Michigan, Mississippi, and Hawaii on Tuesday night, further solidifying his path to the Republican nomination.
"The turnout has been just massive for every week," Trump said from his golf club in Jupiter, Florida, The Washington Post reported.
Gathered below are eight reasons the real estate mogul is all but assured to clinch the Republican nomination and won't likely be stopped by his rivals.
1. A head-to-head contest isn't emerging As Commentary magazine pointed out on Wednesday, "Though polls continue to show him losing in head-to-head matchups against both Cruz and Rubio, there doesnt appear to be a path for either of them to get to that point." Even if Rubio loses Florida and drops out, Kasich is poised to win Ohio, which will prompt him to stay in the race until the convention.
2. Cruz has exhausted his best states "Ted Cruz is going to have a hard time when he gets to certain states, he's going to have a hard time," Trump said on Tuesday night after notching projected victories in Michigan and Mississippi. According to The New York Times, Cruz, the candidate that stands the best chance of stopping Trump, "faces an uphill battle in April and May" as the election map moves away from conservative red states that favor Cruz, and shift toward more moderate and blue states that favor Trump.
3. Rubio unlikely to win Florida The most reliable polling analyses from outfits like FiveThirtyEight and Real Clear Politics predict that Trump, not Rubio, will win the 99-delegate, winner-take-all primary in Florida on March 15. In fact, he leads by double-digit margins in polling averages.

The biggest reason that Trump is winning is the voice of the people is being heard loud and clear. Screw the establishment, it is the people.
Trump for President
“3. Rubio unlikely to win Florida “
Lucky to STAY LIVE overnight in Florida.
Uh Uh....Uh Uh.....
stayin alive!
Monday the 8th was the last firewall for the establishment. Only a fanatical move by the Establishment will move the needle in their direction. But anything that is sensed as an attack on Trump will cause a spike in support for Trump. No win situation as the people are deep into their scorched earth movement upon the establishment.
But as long as there are three or four candidates in the race Trump will win a plurality.
Yep, I could see Rubio dropping out, but not Kasich.
Trump is completely stoppable.
Not only has every mainstream media commentator agreed that Trump has peaked, they have been in agreement on that point weekly since last August.
Trump has peaked. The entire GOP establishment, even Mitt Romney, turned against him. Doomed!
He’s doomed!
Doomed, I say, Doomed!
DOOMED!!!
[Warning: there may have been a wee bit of sarcasm in my post.]
Ironically, the intransigence of the establishment candidates Rubio & Kasich pretty much guarantee Trump will win the nomination.
Look at this map: http://www.politico.com/2016-election/results/map/president
Look at all of the delegate rich states in the northeast and upper Midwest that have yet to vote.
That is not Cruz country—in a head to head race he would probably lose all of those states.
True. THe evangelical-rich southern states were front-loaded, and Cruz could not do the job there, so he’s only going downhill from here on out.
What polls?
Like the one that showed Hillary winning Michigan by double digits?
That picture reminds me, anyone hear from Beck this morning?
“Not really true. Apparently Trump would come out worse for wear if the race was one on one. He does not reach >50% under any primary scenario.”
Yes, when the moon is full and the caterpillars have come out from their winter slumber and the stars align with Zues Trump cannot win in any event. It is easy to defeat him, just have not had the right circumstances yet...LOL
I caught about 30 seconds of him this morning when I turned on the radio. Wouldn’t have made it that long but I fumbled for the tuner.
He was more insane than usual claiming everythiñg Trump said last night was a lie.
Once it becomes clear that Trump will be the nominee, the neo-con artists will go full out scorched earth against him running phony polls and anything else they could possibly do to make sure he would lose the election. They would much rather see Clinton win than Trump.
