He sure has. And now CNN is reporting Jeb is meeting with Rubio, Cruz and Kasich. These guys all make me sick.
IOW, Cruz is fine with subverting the will of the people who voted.
If he loses more states, get less delegates, he’s fine with taking the nomination despite what the little voters want.
lol....he’ll fit right in with establishment.
But will enough of the base have him figured out in time? That is the question.
The “tea party” was a creation of the GOPe—as is Cruz.
Time for voters to wise up.
(Oh, and Trump ain’t perfect either—but he’s got far more of the right enemies.)
I know you Trump supporters lack brain cells, but here is what Cruz ACTUALLY said:
“Ted Cruz says he would have no problem with a contested convention over the summer in the event neither he nor Donald Trump secures enough delegates before then to lock up the Republican presidential nomination.”
In other words, he is not endorsing an attempt to steal delegates from Trump, just a contested convention if nobody has a majority at convention. As despicable as Trump is, I agree if the voters want a fake Republican, give it to them and let him destroy the party and destroy conservatism. Who gives a $$*$& anymore. We are screwed anyway.
Cruz: I’m fine with contested convention
I see the Trumpsters have no idea what a contested convention is. Trump himself seems to understand that a contested convention will be FACT if he doesn’t get to 1,237.
So, if Trump only has say 1,100 delegates going into the convention and Cruz has 1,000 the battle is just beginning over who the other delegates (372) will be supporting. This is what conventions are for figuring out.
Now I admit, if Trump is sitting at 1236 and doesn’t get the nomination it would be ridiculous (and unlikely since he only needs to flip one delegate to get there).
Maybe the Trumpsters are getting this confused with a brokered convention, which would basically wipe away all the primary results. This is the screw job the establishment is planning to get Kasich or Romney in.
Cruz: I’m fine with contested convention >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Cruz has accurately concluded that he cannot beat Trump at the polls.
Trump will accumulate the 1237 delegates and more to win the Republican nomination.
Brokered convention? There will be none unless the RNC changes the rules of procedure, and no court of law in the land would prevent the RNC from changing the rules, there is no public interest concerning procedure of due process.
Reince Priebus has stated repeatedly on TV that he would get behind the winner nominee as the Republican candidate for the Republican Party....but Cruz thinks this is not the case.
All I can say is GO DONALD, GO!
60% of Mississippi Republicans hate Marco Rubio and Cruz wants him on the ticket to rob frontman Trump of his victory.
Cruz is now officially a member of the Washington cartel he’s always complaining about.
Of course he is. That was the plan all along.
He just needs to drop out.
I don’t have a problem with contested convention where the nomination is fought for between the top candidates in the delegate count if neither have the necessary minimum (in this case, 1237) for nomination. Happened in ‘76 with Ford and Reagan, with Ford obviously emerging the winner.
But I have a big problem with a brokered convention where the party establishment chooses anyone they damn well please outside of the top delegate winners, even if their choice didn’t participate in the primaries.
The only way Cruz has a prayer of running for POUTS is if there is a brokered convention.
TRUMP will ride into a brokered convention and take it over, run it, milk it, make money off it, win it and brag that it was the most watched event in the history of the human race and that TV ad during the TRUMPVENTION were 300 percent more costly to take out than Superbowl ads.
BRING ON THE BROKERED
Cruz should be Okay with a contested convention. It is the ONLY way he can possibly be on the top of the ticket.
But, if there is a contested convention he will not be the one chosen. Silly Ted. The Establishment is never going to let that happen.
If the RNC tries to throw Mitt Romney is the mix, I'll be pissed.
