One of the two reports is flat out wrong on a fundamental point, the ultimate conclusion of the Alabama Supreme Court. The article I linked to quotes parts of the Alabama Supreme Court decision, and I think that article has it correct.

Someone giving conflicting info didn’t read the order. I read it. It is clear.
The Alabama’s March 4th order dismisses all petitions and orders related to the Alabama supreme court’s prior order to Alabama government officials NOT to issue homosexual marriage certificates.
They dismissed all requests about the case as they do not want to allow ANY cracks in that foundation. They stood firm and dismissed the US supreme court order.
