Well, wouldn't that indicate that Cruz has been held back by their presence in the race? And that their presence (along with Rubio and Kasich) skew the true nature of a Cruz/Trump competition?

In other words, Cruz's support is diluted by the others' presence; Trump not so much.

If they're gone or leave the race, Cruz shows big movement.

Just a thought.

You could be right, it would be especially helpful to Cruz if Rubio left the race. But what does that tell you about the “true conservative” Cruz? I’m astonished that people don’t see Ted’s establishment ties.
