He had the right idea at the beginning to ride in Trump's wake to a visible position and then run again in 4 or 8 years. But I think his donors are pulling his strings and insisting that he do this or try that. That's what Trump has been talking about. Owing people, especially if it's your wife's company, ruins a man.

I hear ya Luircin, only reason I haven’t changed party is because in our state there are certain times you can’t cross party lines to vote and I’m too lazy to go and change affiliation every time I want to vote. I think independents can’t vote in primaries.

Rubio has already complained that he doesn’t like his Senate job, and has now bombed as a presidential candidate (despite being the anointed GOPe candidate). Can a FL governor succeed himself? Or is Scott planning to retire?
No matter what he does, Rubio will have to do some total redefining of himself and his image. The Rubio who ran here has done poorly, and with good reason.
