The #NeverTrumpers Are Helping To Elect Hillary Clinton
The Daily Caller ^ | 3/7/2016 | C.J. Pearson

If Hillary Clinton is elected president this coming fall, Erick Erickson, Bill Kristol, and the countless establishment Republican pundits desperately grasping for relevancy will have themselves to blame. The #NeverTrump movement has fiercely divided the Republican Party and has all but incinerated any chance we have at taking back the White House. However, the division didn’t start with #NeverTrump. It started with mainstream Republicans ostracizing conservative firebrands like Chris McDaniel, who unsuccessfully challenged longtime Kansas Senator Thad Cochran in the 2014 cycle, and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin — leaving their devout supporters voiceless and infuriated.

The Trump phenomenon has been long in the making. Conservatives across the country are pissed off, frustrated, and view the RNC with almost as much contempt as Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Much to the dismay of the Republican establishment, Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman and GOP front runner has won 10 states, amassed 319 delegates, and drawn record turnout. Donald Trump has managed to do what few other candidates in this race have figured out how to do.

Which is, win.

Fifteen nominating contests later and 31 days since the first votes of the election were cast, his two closest rivals Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have fallen behind. The establishment is so desperate that earlier this week, they sought to turn their longstanding enemy into, at best, a frenemy — ordaining Cruz as the most viable alternative to Mr. Trump.

This election cycle has turned the political establishment on its head, leaving former brokers of power broke, busted, and disgusted. The Washington cartel has found its entire power hungry operation in shambles.

The American people have rebelled, the Washington elite are hopeless — but the fight is far from over.

We have a White House to win.

You don't see many of Trump's supporters saying they won't vote for the duly nominated choice. It's usually just the Cruz supporters.

Maybe the Trump voters understand fully, the seriousness of the state of our country and the Cruz people are still just playing politics......

You're right, I don't know you. Your posting history is prolific, and there has to be a reason why you've been defending Trump at every juncture. Perhaps one of these days, you will give us the courtesy of telling us a bit about yourself on the home page. Strictly voluntary, of course.

I should have done a better job of focusing on Trump's leadership style, as I have no idea what leadership roles you've had during your military service.

Please have the courtesy of pointing out where I lied, or is that a standard retort from a Trumpeteer?

“Prolific posting history”. Exactly! How in the heck does she post ALL day long, week after week, month after month if she is in the Army? How is that possible?

It's obviously not the Army I knew...lol.

OTOH, I got out in '84, prior to all the conflicts and deployments in the Middle East. Never joined the Reserves, without too many second thoughts. I did my time times two (I had a 4 year commitment for my scholarship, and I did 8+ years active).

I never seriously thought about a career, my goal was to have one shot at a battery command, which I fulfilled.

Trump, himself, is helping us elect Hillary.

Get over it. The voters are speaking very loudly and the only thing that will keep Trump from winning is the GOPe supporters like yourself who will vote for Hillary just to keep the establishment in power.

Let’s face it - the #TrumpNever folks are proof positive that the GOP needs a good diaper change.,?i>

It's more the "Cruz or Lose" folks who bother me than those who just don't like Trump when they compare the two.

Trump will deliver the best possible spanking to the RNC and GOPe if he's elected and he seems to be steamrolling along despite the best efforts of about a hyndred orgs/agencies to take him down - he's a survivor and those who think Hillary would steamroll him haven't dealt with a candidate who isn't afraid of those who would try to use "racist" or "sexist" as cudgels - he would make her look like what she is and it ain't a pretty picture.

When I voted in S. MS yesterday, I noticed only 2 folks at the Dem tables and 6 folks at the Rep tables:

Dem - 2 old ladies with sour looks: one White One Black

Rep - 3 men and 3 women all cheerful and looking like life was good - 2 Black men and one White; 2 White women and one Black

IOW, even Mississippi has less racial problems these days than most "liberal" strongholds - why iz dat? The Blacks in certain areas also believe in Conservative Principles - woo hoo!
