If Hillary Clinton is elected president this coming fall, Erick Erickson, Bill Kristol, and the countless establishment Republican pundits desperately grasping for relevancy will have themselves to blame. The #NeverTrump movement has fiercely divided the Republican Party and has all but incinerated any chance we have at taking back the White House. However, the division didnt start with #NeverTrump. It started with mainstream Republicans ostracizing conservative firebrands like Chris McDaniel, who unsuccessfully challenged longtime Kansas Senator Thad Cochran in the 2014 cycle, and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin leaving their devout supporters voiceless and infuriated.
The Trump phenomenon has been long in the making. Conservatives across the country are pissed off, frustrated, and view the RNC with almost as much contempt as Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Much to the dismay of the Republican establishment, Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman and GOP front runner has won 10 states, amassed 319 delegates, and drawn record turnout. Donald Trump has managed to do what few other candidates in this race have figured out how to do.
Which is, win.
Fifteen nominating contests later and 31 days since the first votes of the election were cast, his two closest rivals Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have fallen behind. The establishment is so desperate that earlier this week, they sought to turn their longstanding enemy into, at best, a frenemy ordaining Cruz as the most viable alternative to Mr. Trump.
This election cycle has turned the political establishment on its head, leaving former brokers of power broke, busted, and disgusted. The Washington cartel has found its entire power hungry operation in shambles.
The American people have rebelled, the Washington elite are hopeless but the fight is far from over.
We have a White House to win.

I don't believe that for a minute. Trump didn't become a great succuss, being stupid.
Somebody who gets his facts this wrong is unlikely to do any better with his analysis, and he doesn't.
Kansas isn't Mississippi anymore.
You still believe in that silly term... "conservative".
How many politicians of the 535 in DC can you say are "conservative"?
Of that number that you might come up with, how many of those voted for the two Republican leaders in Congress responsible for letting Obama destroy "conservative" policies.
Donald Trump is living evidence of the truth of the old adage, "It's better to be lucky than smart."
How is Trump helping Hillary?
Yes, my good FRiend.
Put another way...
Trump = Perot = Trump = Perot...
.
Given Trump’s strength in Blue states thus far with hard votes your assertion doesn’t make any logical sense. Record turnouts, checkmate.
I will vote for Ted Cruz. If Cruz is not the nominee, I'll take a close evaluation of the records. I will not vote for Donald Trump over Planned Parenthood alone.
I agree 100% with what you said. We see people already positioning themselves to blame their candidates’ loss on something or somebody else.
People will say it was the fault of the media or the stay-at-homers. It’s his fault, your fault, my fault etc. Essentially reducing the 2016 election to a fraud in their minds. Which prevents them from asking the bigger question. Is this the trajectory of the country? Yes.
9/11 didn’t interrupt this trajectory. 2008 financial crisis didn’t interrupt it. Obama was a symptom, not a cause. But they won’t accept that. They yearn for what was. That time is over and it will be reflected in the ballot box time and time again.
Any good smart businessman will tell you that their success will come with some luck involved. Trump is wildly successful so I'm sure some luck was involved but I doubt it was all luck and because he wasn't smart. Class envy does not work so well on a conservative message board.

As unfolding events demonstrate every day, the GOP is fully wedded to political lobbyists and is thus, too corrupt to change. This is their last chance.
What’s that mean John? Does it mean Trump is just lucky but stupid and and you’re the one who’s smart?
A 3rd party has been coming for years before Trump 2012. It wouldn’t take me much go 3rd party with the right people on an America first platform.
Yup. The way Trump tears down the other candidates and the way Trump supporters follow suit..
It makes it VERY hard to think about voting Trump.
I also have a hard time seeing a man who has been able to write his own rules start living with someone else’s rules.
Er 2015..
No. The Nevertrumpers are trying to save us from both Trump and Hillary.
He cannot beat Hillary and if he did we would just have a clone of Hillary.
No, yeah. NeverTrump.
Some good stuff in there.
