On Sunday night, conservative talk radio powerhouse Rush Limbaugh sang the praises of Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz, calling him “trustworthy,” “likable,” a true conservative and “in a different league, on different planet” when it comes to substance.
Limbaugh has previously deemed the Texas senator the most conservative of the entire Republican presidential field, even calling him the “closest in our lifetimes we have ever been to Ronald Reagan.” During his quick interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, Limbaugh reinforced this sentiment after Wallace — who has had a few testy exchanges with Cruz in the past — challenged that previous comparison of Cruz to Reagan.
"I think he has the ability to appeal to everybody,” replied Limbaugh, after conceding that Cruz has “limited his appeal” via his tailored message. “That debate the other night that you guys did — I don't mean this to be insulting to anybody, I'm just telling you what I saw — he was on a different league. He was in a different league, on a different planet. Everybody says ‘we need substance in these debates,’ you got it. You got it from Cruz. The other guys are doing what they were doing. At one point, [Donald] Trump even had to say, ‘Yeah, whatever Ted said, I agree with.’ He's in a different league.”

I’ve been listening to rush since 1992,and he is normally for nobody in the primary season,this year he is schizophrenic and off kilter. He is sucking up to a couple of candidates,and he seems unable to just say positive things without choosing. Glenn beck and Mark Levin are totally freaking nuts,and should be in padded cells.

These days I am only on here. The conservative media is invested in Cruz and taking out Trump. Becoming delusional a bit. Some more than others and they can’t criticize Cruz because him losing ends the meme that he was electable or something. Guess because they put him on a pedestal it will be rough when he loses.

This year, nothing, Nuuuuuuhthiiiiing, ... until Sunday! They were still obeying some kind of rules, as they did not have Trump "on camera", that is for interview, but they did cover his arrival. You could feel the electricity. Lowly minions were calling out "TRUMP!" in veritable ecstasy. It was something.
I feel obliged to admit that I WILL vote for him, so help me God.
The majority of people in this country hate publicly professing Christians. This is why people like Cruz and Michelle Bachmann are treated as crazies and can’t get elected. This is why I acknowledge that we are left with Trump as our only chance to dump the she-devil. Even though he doesn’t really know what he stands for.
Rush said some good things about Trump on that link. Looks like the posters on this thread need to walk back some of their insults on Rush.
