On Sunday night, conservative talk radio powerhouse Rush Limbaugh sang the praises of Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz, calling him trustworthy, likable, a true conservative and in a different league, on different planet when it comes to substance.
Limbaugh has previously deemed the Texas senator the most conservative of the entire Republican presidential field, even calling him the closest in our lifetimes we have ever been to Ronald Reagan. During his quick interview with Fox News Chris Wallace, Limbaugh reinforced this sentiment after Wallace who has had a few testy exchanges with Cruz in the past challenged that previous comparison of Cruz to Reagan.
"I think he has the ability to appeal to everybody, replied Limbaugh, after conceding that Cruz has limited his appeal via his tailored message. That debate the other night that you guys did I don't mean this to be insulting to anybody, I'm just telling you what I saw he was on a different league. He was in a different league, on a different planet. Everybody says we need substance in these debates, you got it. You got it from Cruz. The other guys are doing what they were doing. At one point, [Donald] Trump even had to say, Yeah, whatever Ted said, I agree with. He's in a different league.

Exactly!!!! That blew my mind when TRUMP said the REASON for giving money to the left was because of his business!!! HA... he really CARES about his BUSINESS more than our country!!!
Pretty much. I think he put it best a couple of weeks ago: I’m tired of hearing about the cheeseheads versus the knackwurstheads day in and day out.
Whoever the pied piper is who’s leading the rest of them along to Cruz’s tune, whether it’s Rush or somebody else, is doing a great job. Even the local morning show I used to like listening to has gotten in on the act.
We all know how William F Buckley Jr would weigh in.
Kudos to your State for getting it right. My State is delusional and it used to be Conservative - GA
Dear Rush:
You need to get out more.
Your rich golfing buddies and off the record contacts with insiders have clouded your once clear vision.
You should try mingling with real people. You might learn something.
I stopped listening to Levin and Hannity about 6 years ago, I cut back on rush but now I am done with him.
Yep, exactly! How pathetic is that? Trump has funded those working to destroy the Constituition.
Trump is one of his golf buddies.
Trump is one of his golf buddies.
Rush is on top of his game...Cruz the real conservative in this race.
YEP!!!!
Thanks for the laugh!
Needed it!!
A week ago people were howling that Cruz floated the notion that Trump may be associated with the mob.
Today the Teamsters say they back Trump LOL.
I suspect Jimmy Hoffa is in the foundation of Trump towers LOL
“You know more than the people who wrote the bible on conservatism?”
Well, the people on The Right are rewriting that “bible.” It may well be that these folks are part of the “faux conservative” scam that’s been run on people who ARE Conservative. Talk, after all is cheap, and that’s all these people do is talk. There isn’t a real doer in the lot. When I see Rush, Levin and Sowell, running for office I miioght change my mind. All you have to do is look at the track record of conservatives to see that however noble our cause has been, we have failed to capture the attention of the majority of the voters of this country. Add to that the fact that the Republican Party, which is nominally thought of as being conservative, hasn’t done squat to fix the problems this country faces or even act as a “loyal opponent of the RATs.
But Rush is right in one way, Cruz is on another planet.
Came across an accurate statement,imo!
“On man when asked about Trump said simply,
A peacock today, a feather duster tomorrow,”
