The presentation is an 11th-hour rebuttal to the fatalism permeating the Republican establishment: Slide by slide, state by state, it calculates how Donald Trump could be denied the nomination.
Marco Rubio wins Florida. John Kasich wins Ohio. Ted Cruz notches victories in the Midwest and Mountain West. And the results in California and other states are jumbled enough to leave Trump three dozen delegates short of the 1,237 required forcing a contested convention in Cleveland in July.

Id love to see Cruz make a deal with Trump. I know there’s bad blood. But things could be smoothed over. Cruz has no real path forward. The caucus states are done and he will never win in states like Michigan Ohio Illinois etc. He is just being used by the elites in order to stop Trump.
This way Cruz gets on ticket and the NeverTrump people who are in the conservative establishment (Red State Hot Air CPAC etc) would get behind the team and it would screw over the Republican establishment (Fox News Weekly Standard Club for Growth etc) and their plans to draft Romneycare.
If they can stop Trump, with the help of Cruz and the Cult, then they can claim they’re just following convention rules.
That would make a good name for a rock bank: “And now, playing their latest hit ‘That Weren’t No Booger’, here is Cruz and the Cult!”
I had the same thoughts except Bernie, not Hillary.
He at least seems more gun rights oriented.
Exactly and so right!
The elites still don’t get it.
Every action they take to influence the outcome of the primary elections just demonstrates why conservative hate their guts.
Your suggestion is excellent. Today Mark Stein noted that Trump has to win 58 percent of the remaining delegates to win a majority, and Cruise needs to win a larger number. That means they could go to the convention with over 70 percent between them and still have the GOPe steal the nomination. Time for them to bury the hatchet and unite.
If Hillary wins, Trump is the only loser—well, him and the country. The Uniparty stays intact, GOPe and Dems. No one else loses. Game over for good for any outsider not in the donors’ pockets.
A contested convention means they have conceded the WH to Hillary.
You know who does like him. Small business owners. Why then are organizations like Chamber of Commerce against him? Club for Growth? Pro free enterprise organizations my butt!
The deep of the level we are being played is breath takingly vast.
Mitt essentially admitted the fix was in for 2012 via his hate speech. I'm still trying to understand the ramifications of this.
What is it with these people? Have the Extra-terrestrial aliens taken over and give these people their self destructive orders.
Short of crazy tin foil hat crap it is tough to fathom that its just short sighted greed but maybe it is.
The disinformation campaign the oligarchy has accomplished via the pimps of punditry are taking glasnost to new perverse heights.
Recommendation: listen directly to the candidates and turn off the radio and tv for a week come back and notice the propaganda coming from all sides at trump
Red team and blue team are fighting the choice of the ordinary American family: that is the United State of America today.
Schnell you dirty prole mush!!
Trump or Cruz or Rubio as President is only the start
***************************
Rubio betrayed the citizens when he schemed with Schumer and the rest of the Gang.
Trump or Cruz, yes,
Rubio, NEVER!
I understand how you feel, but what if the choice of the people (not the party) is Rubio? What then? Stay home? Remember the ultimate goals, the White House and regaining control of our party. And if the people get screwed again as they were in the Mississippi primaries, I promise I will be in the first group to leave this worthless party.
No President Clinton again...
Rubio won MN, the bluest state and PR, which isn’t even a state.
He is not nor will be the choice of the citizens.
The only way Rubio is nominated is by The Cheap Labor Express at a rigged convention because they intend to deny us the opportunity to elect anyone who could stop them from flooding the country with fraudulently documented foreigners.
They don’t really care about your option 2. The GOP is fine with Hillary, just like they’ve been fine with Obama. As long as the Chamber is happy, everything else is just theater for the rubes.
Agreed.
Like I said, if they do I’m gone from this party. Coming with me?
