You know, I never totally discount these conspiracy type sites and always check them out because sometimes you find one tiny link or one sentence that proves true and leads to bigger, true things. So thanks!
Not the GOPe elite Establishment RINOs. They would rather lose to the Donkeys than have either Trump or Cruz as the nominee. They will work with the Donkeys to defeat their own nominee so great is their hate. The voters have rejected them. They are behaving like spoiled brats that cannot have their way, so they pickup their marbles and go home. It comes down to this in the end: protecting their highly efficient and profitable gravy train. This cabal is composed of RINOs, Donkeys, consultants, K Street loyars, rich donors, and other cronies who like their power and perks just fine. They want to preserve the same old same old way of life for themselves and to hell with the rest of the country. We need to purge 3/4 of the FedGov and hold a Washington, DC necktie party for these slime.
If four establishment senators endorsed Trump what would you say? Would you say Trump is establishment?
Unfortunately the term "establishment" has become ill-defined. To many around here, it just seems to mean "opposed to my preferred candidate". So I would be more interested in who the senators are, and what their track record is on supporting the constitution, federalism, and conservatism.
Exactly... Politics is so gamey. People just say stuff and words have come to mean very little, as have all these endorsements or lack thereof. To me the only thing that exists to evaluate a politician is what they have already done on record, ( in regard to politics), in the past. Does the person seem stable, calm and predictable? I am not looking to have a beer with a President or be impressed with his jeans or be entertained. Since words don’t mean what they mean, it is sometimes helpful to listen to the voice. For example Hillary is clearly condescending, authoritarian, phony with her accents.
Of course we won’t know until we see the names, but some of it might very well be that they like both Cruz and Rubio and didn’t want to make an early endorsement of either one. Now that it appears Rubio is tanking, they’re free to endorse Cruz. Again, we need to see the names. If it’s McSlime and Lindsey, then yeah, it’s the establishment trying to get rid of Trump. If it’s Lee, Cotton, Sasse, and Paul then I wouldn’t think so.
... and TRUMP has bad mouthed CRUZ for weeks that he isn’t LIKED by his collegues!! Can’t have it both ways!!!!!!!!!!!
HEY WAIT... IT’s TRUMP that made a big shmeell about Cruz not having the SUPPORT of ONE of the Senators.. So now what is going to say the next debate???
you are ONE of THEM.. you have their support???
Talking out of two sides of his mouth...
WAIT!!! Jeff SeSSIONS indorsed TRUMP!!!! SO what does that make HIM????
Cruz still isn’t liked. They are just using him and then they will crap on him.
RANDOM words CAPITALIZED and random... ellipses... make YOU... sound like SHATNER or... a professional WRESTLER.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that, because the image of Capn. Kirk throwing down with Hulk Hogan makes me giggle.
Above I said that Cruz got the worst of both worlds out of this deal. It took this long for them to endorse; how is he going to convince people to come around to his programs?
But now that they ARE endorsing after so much reluctance? Does that mean that he’s joined the GOPe?
Hmmmm.
Colleagues don’t have to like Cruz to use him for their purposes.
I absolutely agree with your analysis. Ted is being bought — and it’s simply impossible for even the strongest supporters not to think so.
He would not take office and do anything but proceed with business, as usual.
NO wall. NO closed borders or deportations. NO standing up to terrorists & countries. No-no-no anything different.
He would simply go along—to get along—as he is perceived doing now.
I was actually asking WHO, in the GOP, is doing it? Names, we need names!
Rove.
Ryan.
Who has the ability to do this?
And frankly wtf would anyone listen to Karl Rove, when he has been consistently wrong & is extremely out of touch with today’s voters?
Graham said if Cruz was murdered in the senate no one would care just the other day. Graham is ready for a shrink
So what do you think Mercer wants from Cruz?
Rush was talking today about the big private meeting at Sea Island, Ga this past weekend. Among the attendees were all the high tech people, Kristol....also attending was McConnell, Rove, COTTON and SASE. The subjects for discussion was “How did this happen?” and “How do we stop Trump?”
I hope everyone understands that very few of the Cruz and Trump voters are delegates. Delegates are the republican governors and congress folks, County Chairman...in other words they’re chosen by the elite.
Just because Cruz were to get 42 delegates in Florida if he doesn’t get enough on the first votes ALL 42 are then allowed to vote for their favorite sons Bush or Rubio.
In fact, I doubt all of Texas delegates will vote for Cruz after the first ballot. It’s the same with Trump.
That’s why I say we need to support the one man they’re most scared of. I beg Cruz voters to vote for Trump so he can win it on the first count.
By the way, there was no discussion at the meeting on how to stop Cruz.
