BS. I have worked it IT for 25 years so I know of what I speak. You are wrong dead wrong. It is a body switch out - Raj for Roger. Same building, same seat. Seen it a bunch of times in different organizations.

They may swap seats out but they get the headcount off their books by employing through the Indian company. Additionally, the models I have seen have been for every one stateside are 3 or more in India doing the coding- and they have high turn-over. Dude in the US is usually the go between.

They promise lower costs initially, but there are so many bug fixes over the life of the software that before you know it, the 50 US persons laid off have been replaced by 200 offshore and your code is garbage.
