Donald Trump has a schtick (Yiddish Word meaning "gimmick, comic routine, style of performance, etc., associated with a particular person") which has served him well and it will be hard for him to abandon it to play act statesman. It's his strength but it's also his vulnerability.

In the almost eight months until the general election the Democrats and their media army of orcs will drive home that Trump is a mafia associate, misogynist, Richie Rich trust fund brat, serial adulterer, beauty show barker/pimp, egotistical, ill mannered, rude, and crude monster.
