Obama didn’t attend Scalia’s funeral and was criticized for it. Let’s be consistent, shall we?
The funeral for a former first lady should at the minimum be attended by other former first ladies and the current first lady. It’s respectful. So I expect to see Rosalynn Carter, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton, and Laura Bush in addition to Michelle Obama.
Obama wouldn’t attend .. I’m sure he’s got a tee time somewhere that would conflict & Mooch has a lunch date to make school kids somewhere in this country hungry & miserable. Seriously, if Nancy were my mom, I’d have a private, invitation only funeral. No media, either.
