Sharyl Attkissons Full Measure Full Measure tackles one of the biggest topics in American today - the southern border. We travel to the 372 mile long border between Arizona and Mexico where the question is: who's really calling the shots?
Please Do not do that anymore.
The owner Jim Robinson asked us to drop the vitrol. I am trying to abide by his wishes.
Calling him “Pastor Ted” doesn’t add to the discussion it will merely make people we need in Nov angrier.
"No one bats 1000"
I remember what Rush did to Newt, right before the Florida primary... Rush is just another shark... Getting amnesty talking points from the likes of Schumer and Graham has exposed Rush's lack conservatism. I think Rush has Trump envy.
Quote:
“lol...Romney is still bringing up the KKK. Give it up, Mitt.”
He won’t, and neither will the Media, the GOPe, and ‘Rat Party. Why? Because attack propaganda repeated over and over works.
His books for the kids are great...
Thanks for the clarification - I forgot Cruz’s op-ed with establishment Lyin’ Ryan
Cruz has ALWAYS been Establishment.
And if one needed more, Cruz's VAT tax is so Euro-peen. I remember the Clinton/Gore attempt to VAT tax US and we fought them off.
That's exactly what the GOP-E says about every conservative candidate. Do you agree that they are correct?
I know.
Now Meet the Press is showing the “pledge” by Trump. David Brooks mentions the Nuremberg Trials and authoritarian rule.
Excuse me, my office is located in a historic cigar factory where my landlord, a successful businessman, owns it. He is a gay conservative. He wants a flat tax, he hates common core, he wants to eliminate Energy, the EPA, Education and Transportation departments. Gays can be conservative and he is married with kids.
Mary Matalin on MTP with F Chuck looks like a space alien something happened to her face
“Prove to me that Cruz can win anywhere but his choir. You have lots of upcoming chances. So far he is winning the choir, jury still out if he can win anyone else.”
Ted Cruz cannot win a national election. The West Coast, upper Midwest, Northeast and South will not be carried by Ted Cruz.
I thought it was a huge mistake for Trump not to attend CPAC
Thanks I will listen can’t wait
Has anyone looked at his client history? Toyota, Pfizer....
Sorry...but homosexual men CANNOT be “married” to other men - it is so evil it’s an obamanation according to God.
Anyone who disagrees is saying they have more perfect wisdom than God.
Reagan has words for the #NeverTrump Purity Choir in the Conservative Media. This idea that if they just keep shouting they will get a 100%er elected to do everything they want is a fools notion.
Reagan:
A man 75-80% on my side is a valuable friend and ally, not my enemy:
I know this falls on deaf ears with 100%ers but the fact remains, We are a Constitutional Republic that rests on the notion that the peoples Representatives in Government know how to compromise and negotiate.
This feeling that Cruz will ride into DC and dictate the Conservative Media's 100%er terms to everyone else there is simply wishful thinking. What is more probably is Cruz would be a GOP Carter.
Carter was the same sort of religious political puritan who went to DC and assumed he would dictate his political dogmas to everyone there. The record shows how badly that idea failed.
Conservative politicians talk a good game and then go to DC and accomplish nothing. After 30 years of fail, it is time to try another solution. The winning candidate is GASP going to have to cut DEALS! And some times those deals require..compromise!!!
Another fail point for the “Principled Conservatives” is they think only as far as the election. Then once they win their purity candidates go to DC and fail against the inertia of the DC/Media political machine. 1994-2000-2010-2014 are all example of where this Next election mindset has failed.
Trump is merely the 1st wave of a multi wave assault. Cruz might do for a follow up wave, he is not a 1st wave candidate.Without Trump to lead the way, the Cruz boat would of either been ignored because it was irrelevant, or been shelled into oblivion by the 10s of millions of GOPE attack ads.
The 1st wave job in any assault is to shatter the defenses and open the road for the follow up waves. No matter how flawed you think the vessel is, Trump is the best 1st wave political assault team we have had to hand in my lifetime.
We need to use Trump for all he is worth to shatter the corrupt, my party right or wrong mindset that grips vast swaths of the electorate. Break that inertia, get the people thinking outside the party label box and real change is possible. Do not an we slide into a stagnate European style decline that will not end in my lifetime. Cruz shares that agenda point but is not as well equipped by background and media following to achieve that break through as Trump
We either win this now or we have little chance of ever doing it again politically. Once we win we must relentlessly stay on the attack election wave after election wave until we are dead.
I am really not willing to leave this fight to my kids and grand-kids. We have let the ship of state drift since Reagan in the hands of the smart people. We failed and most redeem that failure.
This is our generations go time
Now that I have actually had the opportunity to see Mitt Romney this morning I have a much better understanding of why I did not like him as a candidate and have absolutely no respect for him.
It was great that Wallace showed the clip of him lauding Trump as a great businessman who has created lots of jobs and has a good understanding of the economy.
I am betting that Trump will not lose to Candy Crowley.
I don’t believe Cruz can win the general. Too far right for everybody but the far right. Krauthammer (I know, I know ... but he’s got a good way with words now & again) wrote a piece the other day & one of the things he said was: “they (Evangelicals] are increasingly reluctant to support like-minded candidates who are nonetheless incapable of advancing their cause in a hostile political arena so dominated by secularism”.
Leaving out the Evangelical part, but looking at the candidates themselves, far right “conservative” Constitutional candidates & running strictly on the same, like Cruz IMO, are incapable of advancing their cause in a hostile political arena so dominated by the enemedia, Liberalism, Progressivism and secularism. There has to be some other reason to vote for a candidate this political season .... I think Trump has hit on it and it’s a ‘sea change’ among the masses of the downtrodden & “unprotected” as Noonan described ‘we the people’ (as opposed to the elites). The same old play book is not going to work because we’re just not going to take it any more and are not voting on ideology or policy, but strength & “kicking over the table & starting a new game despite the chaos that will result” (Newt). The GOP elites have stacks of coins & systems in place to collect those coins & when Trump kicks over the table, all of that is gone or seriously disrupted. I don’t know if Newt was making a religious reference (I think he slyly was), but the GOP elites are all screaming the equivalent of “crucify him” where Trump is concerned.
The lame cherry website is not for everyone it’s definitely an acquired taste hard to explain some of the stuff there is brilliant other just makes you makes your stomach turn
. I have a hard time ignoring the site too much there
