The establishment is panicked and the former Republican presidential nominee just confirmed it

I don't see any evidence, however, that Ted Cruz is participating in accusations of racism, which is the central acccusation about the implementation of the strategy against Trump.
Calling in 'Rats against McDaniel to support Thad Cochran is about as low as it gets, just offhand, but the speaker of the Texas house of representatives does it every day and has done so for 10 long years now. He isn't missing any sleep, either.
Same back at ya, smartass.
I'm just not taking orders tonight, not even for fried eggs.
What is it with you guys? Liquor give you delusions of godhead? No, that can't be it -- you've been cranky and nasty since yesterday. What is your problem? That poster put up one opinion of Jeanine Pirro's video and you'd think she'd shot the Pope.
What exactly did Cruz do/say that "Mississippi'd" Donald Trump and persuades you he is d'accord with the Mitt Romneys and Barbours and McConnells?
We really disagree about that, and I adduce support from Rush Limbaugh, who has pointed out repeatedly since last fall that the Rove/GOP-e crowd have zero use for Ted Cruz; their guys all along have been Yeb! and Marco Rubio.
McConnell even criticized Kasich the other day for staying in; he and other GOP-e's are burning Kasich as "selfish" for staying in. (Being called "selfish" by Mitch McConnell is like being called a whore by the Mayflower Madam.)
No, Cruz isn't part of that bunch, I don't care what tales out of school you've heard.
Consider, for one thing, that the McDaniel operation was being run by the most senior members of the Mississippi and U.S. Republican Parties. Cruz was very junior then -- he's junior now, and people point that out as a debit against his candidacy -- even moreso than now; what stroke do you think he had, that he should have unlimbered in defense of fellow Tea Partier McDaniel against the Old Guards of the GOP Establishment?
He may, in fact, have had zero ability to help McDaniel. Did you think of that?
SCOTUS!
I will reply to your two previous posts at some future point.
In this post, we shall agree to disagree. This is not a full response, as it is 4:40 am here, but suffice it to say, for now: I suspect we could debate this for hours/days/forever : )
IMO, it is ALL a ruse, save for Mr. Trump. That’s the conclusion I come to, in an attempt to put the puzzle pieces together so as to make sense out of what we see.
When people read articles, or listen to speakers, they process what is being said, along with tone, delivery, etc., and come to conclusions with respect to credibility, agreement, etc. We all react differently to information presented to us, thus the differing schools of thought.
As someone who was a total devotee for many years, I find Rush has zero credibility. Having outgrown him, I haven’t listened to him for years. Nevertheless, it is disappointing to realize how GOPe he is, and may have always been.
I find Mr. Rove to be an arrogant plotter for the elite’s benefit. Thus, one imagines him with his big chessboard of characters, his pawns each playing their parts over the long-term, not just in the election cycle.
We can but guess what each pawn’s role is within each plan. My sense is that the Rubio/Cruz were meant to be 2nd stringers, in the event of a fail on the part of the 1st string. Cruz has a reportedly superb talent at being able to persuasively debate both sides of an issue. I think years ago, Rove tagged him with the responsibility to hook in those pesky conservatives. I suspect Sarah Palin and Phyllis Schlafly “got his number”, and thus endorsed Mr. Trump. As others have documented numerous examples of his GOPe voting record, I will leave it at that.
I personally find Cruz repellent and offensive in the extreme, and as such, can read his comments but can not abide seeing and hearing him pontificate. The written source that documents and makes the best sense to me is The Conservative Treehouse. I find his political analysis of strategy to be profoundly fascinating and most credible.
Now that Mr. GOPe Romney has come out from the shadows, it puts Cruz in an interesting position. Which side will he take? Will he echo GOPe Romney’s talking points? Or will he still position himself as the outsider?
Regardless, for me, everything I see/read confirms my initial reluctance toward backing Cruz.
Now it’s 4:50am and time to check out!
I neither drink alcohol nor do drugs. neither am I "cranky" or "nasty". Your much inflated high opinion of yourself is something which you need to overcome, as well as your disdain for Trump supporters.
You first, Wonder Woman. Show me how it's done.
Neither does your puerile persiflage.
I don't have a "case", and you ain't no judge. Neither are you a channelmaster, nor a mod, nor God. In short, you're just being unpleasant and judgmental of other people for little or no cause, and generally a PITA. Why don't you take up needlepoint?
Your projection complex has now reached terminal state. Bless your heart.
I will simply post this:
I try to read various points of view and ponder content. The source is important yet not critical. There are too many “credentialed” sources who hold zero credibility with me.
Stefan is one of the rare brilliant minds of our day. To disparage him and therefore dismiss or diminish his thoughts because of his country of origin, religious beliefs, etc. is to shortchange oneself of the opportunity to consider, confirm, and perhaps broaden one’s belief system, if one chooses.
Our realiteis obviously differ. Mine is God and Country First. Globalism has served to destroy nations. Much praise needs to be given to Iceland as a shining example of the Patriots taking back their country and restoring national pride and wealth. Our hope is for Mr. Trump to lead the way in helping America to purge the globalists and restore America to its foundational rroots..
Best.
I do that every day. Just not on foot or bicycle. You goddaprollemwiddat?
Bless your heart.
Do you know what one of those is?
The Chris McDaniel affair was really bad business, but you may find that this link will help shed more light on Ted Cruz’s alleged role in same:
http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/229571-sen-ted-cruz-out-at-senate-campaign-arm
Notice especially the gulf between Cruz’s staffer’s characterization (with data points) of Cruz’s role on the NRSC, and the recharacterization of it by (faceless) “professionals” and “consultants”.
Notice also the strong implication that nobody on the committee was *running* the committee, that decisions were being taken or reviewed elsewhere: see the reaction to Cruz’s finding assistance for Tea Party challengers and the reaction of other incumbents (proving the NRSC is an incumbents-only slush fund).
Hope this helps.
There is a current McDaniels happening now, and Cruz is up to his neck in it. It was blatant to anyone with eyes on Thursday. Romney/McCain/Rubio/Cruz all buddies.
Thanks, it does.
He did help some, but then capitulated to the PTB’s and held back his support for Tea Party types.
And gave a bunch of money to the committee that tied his hands and stopped helping the org that was helping beat the eGOP incumbents.
“He may, in fact, have had zero ability to help McDaniel. Did you think of that?”
Sure, but I think he did have the ability to help even through the committee.
They told him to back down and he did.
Heck, he could have some out in support of McDaniel as many other Tea Party individuals did.
That would have given McD an extra boost, but put Cruz on the outs with the “Old Guards of the GOP Establishment” which would be a good thing for his popularity with the people.
But these allegations that Cruz is chummy with the e-GOP are just not something I am willing to believe based on what I've seen -- just because he opposes Trump, Cruz is therefore and ipso facto in bed with Mitch McConnell? Listen to yourself! I don't believe it, and I think the two Limbaughs are a lot more credible than whoever your source is -- who is it, by the way? I've seen a site mentioned, but are they another FReeRepublic? Are their guys tall and wide Tea Party people? Reaganauts? Goldwaterites? What? Or are they old Bushmen, national committeemen, bundlers, "professional consultants", bloggers and blogresses? How long have they been out/publishing?
Where is their HQ? On either of the Coasts? (Flag) Or some happy liberal burg like Missoula, Montana; Incline Village, Nevada; or Key West? How about Provincetown? Fire Island? TriBeCa? The Greater Magellanic Cloud? Just asking.
Look, if you've got something (not Donald Trump videos and IS slide shows) that shows Ted Cruz coordinating with Marco Rubio or Mitch McConnell, I'd like to see it. Really.
Actually, he gave $$$ (as I did) to McConnell's challenger while on the committee ..... I think one does that, as the saying goes, about once, and he did direct NRSC funds to a couple of other Tea Party senatorial-primary challengers and caught hell for it.
He tried to help a couple of people and went into the McConnell doghouse. Did anyone else on the NRSC try to help McDaniel, with McConnell himself leading the Absolute Destruction Committee? I bet not.
How hard are you committed to jamming Cruz on that deal? That's a fair question. How about it? How pure must Caesar's wife be, to avoid invidious comparisons to Donald Trump, who gave to Hillary?
Come on, guys. Politics ain't bean bag, but by the decree of the Proprietor, on this website it isn't big-bore pistols at 10 paces, either.
