Never explain to some attacker that you’re armed. Such claims are cheap, easy to make. They’re likely to either think you’re bluffing or take steps to really put you down fast and hard, possibly so they can steal the gun you’ve claimed to have.
Good advice the first indication they should have that you are armed is BANG. Speed and violence of action is what saves you.
