Conservative radio host Glenn Beck is under investigation after a comment he made on his radio show when talking about GOP front-runner Donald Trump. Beck says his comment was not directed towards the presidential candidate.
This appears to be a misunderstanding but the Secret Service tells CBS11 its aware of the comment and will conduct an appropriate follow-up investigation.

If this is valid, then Trump is a member of the KKK and that is why he was slow to denounce him.
Two can play at this smear game.
Respectfully, sir, Cruz shouldn’t need to be hounded.
Why isn’t *he* upset?
It’s quite a contrast, isn’t it.
If it is invalid, then Trump should not have to disavow it 50 times.
Go suck an egg.
Just running for DT Barnum’s VP.
Yep!
Right, I was asking if ‘the sitting in their shoes’ and then ‘must be pretty big shoes’ or whatever was the banter the Glenn Beck crew makes all the time about his massive fatness. And Glenn said he wants to stab the guy who came back with ‘must be pretty big shoes’ implying if Glenn’s massive rear can fit in them they must be big.
No clowning.
Freegards
Glenn is betraying all the people who went to Washington and who listen to him
I think this is who Beck has always been. I know Andrew Breitbart was very upset with him for the shirley sherrod thing. Also calling tea party folks racists. He called Sara Palin a clown, and read a private letter from her over the air without permission. He is just an all about me type of person. Honestly, Cruz using him as a campaign tool, makes Cruz look like he would do the same as Beck.
That doesn’t let Beck or anybody else making threats against ANYONE. There are too many crazies out there searching for 15 minutes of infamy.
Talking like this could likely lead someone to take Beck seriously and try (or try) to go through with this. Is Beck willing to be charged as an accessory? Don’t you think that renewed calls for gun confiscation won’t follow?
George Wallace ran for President in 1968 and 1972, an outsider with populist views. An assassination attempt ended that.
Yep. At one time, Beck's Fox show was on my must-see list. Now, I won't listen to his radio show, even for a minute.
Looking back, leaving Fox was harmful to Beck. Because Fox kept him in line (sort of) with their various executives, producers, etc. An unleashed Beck became an unstable Beck.
It’s actually nothing like that.
They were talking about what the other candidates should have said at the debate. He was referring to the other people on stage with Trump at the debate and said “...if I was sitting in their shoes I would have said...”
Then Stu, who is his side kick or something, starts teasing him by saying “Sitting in their shoes??? How can you do that? They would have to be pretty big shoes!”
At that point Beck, annoyed, says to Stu, “If I had a knife the stabbing would never stop.”
These kind of accusations make Trump supporters look really stupid. Especially when they try to defend it by saying.... The truth of the accusation doesnt matter. It is the seriousness of the charge.
My sentiments exactly.
Glen Beck needs to stop threatening to knife Donald Trump.
In my mind, talking about murder is talking about murder. Whether by knife or shooting, it’s pretty much on the same level. If you want to talk motive, talking in an exaggerated manner about murdering an enemy who you view as a threat compared to talking about going into a public place and murdering because your supporters will cheer you on anyway, well, let’s see. Who is more of a wack job?
To me, they are both mentally unstable.
I listened to it first but then watched the video...

By where his eyes are focusing when he said that line it looks like he was directing his comment to the guy that was making fun of him saying “If I was sitting in their shoes”
I don’t like Beck anymore either, for over a year now.
Not really. To be fair, there were not one, but two lines of conversation going on. One line was about being on stage with Trump during the debate. The other was about Beck "sitting" in big shoes.
Then came Beck's comment about stabbing someone repeatedly. I've listened to the audio. It's my strong opinion that Beck was responding to the shoe comment, and was not referring to Trump.
But it is a valid opinion to believe that Beck was talking over the shoe guy, and continuing the debate line of discussion.
Either way, and speaking as a Trump supporter, it is too much of a stretch to smear Cruz with any of this.
