There will never be limited government in the US again, unless everything collapses and we have the necessary mass die-off of the useless eaters.

Our expectations are too high for a return to limited government. We expect to survive a head-on collision. We demand to have our “organic” produce certified. We want an FDA. We want NERC/FERC and the SEC and Postal Inspectors. Everyone wants cuts, but they want cuts to someone else’s sacred cow. But cuts are not an answer, even in the short term. We have to give up government as our nanny, even those “good” things.
