Behind Trump's CPAC deal gone bad
Politico ^ | March 4, 2016 | Kenneth P. Vogel

Donald Trump spent five years building a mutually beneficial relationship with the organization that hosts the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, filling its coffers with at least $150,000 in cash and scoring coveted speaking slots that started him on a course towards winning the Republican presidential nomination.

But he ended up canceling what would have been his biggest CPAC speech at the last minute amid plans for protest and disruptions, apparently deciding that his surging presidential campaign no longer needed any boost from the once-storied group.

I believe that you are correct about that. I hadn’t thought about it before you posted it, but you’re 100% correct; for most, though not all, of them.

Cruz didn’t answer probably because he didn’t have an answer prepared. That’s a question that has to be handled very delicately and he wasn’t ready for it. He’ll probably have a substantive response ready by the next time he’s asked.

Does it really matter when our standard bearer appears to be one who praises Planned Parenthood and has vowed to fund it? Money is fungible.

Everyone here got the vapers because Romney flip flopped on abortion, while the nominee in waiting praised partial birth abortion not that long ago and no one says anything because the embarrassment of it all is breathtaking.

The hypocrisy displayed by you is breathtaking, as well. Trump is no conservative. At least Hillary is honest with her intentions of wanting to kill babies.

RE: Of course! HAHAHAH you are a big ol phony.

Wow, you’re a brainy one aren’t you. Might want to read the constitution to learn what we allow the federal government to do. Hint..you will find nothing about the federal government dictating to the states what their adoption policies are.

Stupid people like you bore me.

Trump sure is petty.

Yeah, that's it... /sarcasm

Petty is Teddy Bares middle name. Petty are Teddy Bare supporters who are still LOSERS! Petty is Teddy Bare standing and preaching his BS expecting his coronation as the first LOSER.

While Petty Teddy was preaching after LOSING most of the delegates in primary election, Donald was ANSWERING QUESTIONS AT A NEWS CONFERENCE.

so, who is afraid of being questioned about questionable activity, Donald or Teddy? Who's children pull away from their father? Who has a crazy Mormon Glenn Beck as his sidekick? Nobody lies more than Lyin' Teddy!

Vote Trump! Make America Great Again.

How does Beck get by saying such a thing? Shouldn’t he be reprimanded, suspended, something?!

Trump is fronting for the Reptilians.

Cruz is fronting for the Grays.

Rubio, believe it or not, is fronting for the Nordics.

It's all a conspiracy!

“Glenn Beck has threatened to stab Trump repeatedly. He is one of the speakers slated for Sunday.”

That is another reason. For safety reasons he needs to stay away from that psycho Glenn Beck.

Even without the MSM ganging up on Trump, he loses Hillary by 8-10 points. Bring in full force Democratic party with MSM backing it up and Trump will have his graveyard of skeletons unearthed.

“Your pathetically stupid posts makes FR look shameful.”

Care to provide examples of glowing “nopardons” posts for me to emulate? I am genuinely curious to see how respectful you have made FR look.

Trump is socially liberal. He could care less if a baby is adopted by a gay couple.

Trump, who was emerging as one of the group's major donors, giving checks that now total at least $150,000, more than previously known, according to multiple sources familiar with Trump’s support.

That can't be true. Most Cruz followers here say Trump only gives to Hillary and other Dims.

So, you are writing that Trump is boycotting CPAC because of a handful of gay people out of 10,000 attendees? Trump is from Manhattan. He knows and has befriended more gay people than you will ever meet in a lifetime.

The fact that Glenn Beck is to be the closing speaker at CPAC tells me all I need to know.
