No one can because he really didn’t change his position if you pay attention to him BUT he was asked ‘are you changing your position on immigration’ and he responded ‘yes, I am softening it a little’ (or something like that)

It’s him! He is horrible in this type of format. IE not a skilled politician :)

I’m with you. It’s confusing as you say because he’s said all along we should keep the best, the “really good ones”. Tonight he says he’s “changing”, “softening”. I don’t get it.
